Here's a lovely stamp called Tess summer fun from Crafty Sentiments.  I made this fun card for our current Outlawz Monday Greeting challenge. The contest going on right now is the Monday greetings challenge, this week the theme is anything goes and as always, be sure and add a sentiment to your card.  My sentiment here says, "Delight in the little things."

From Cre8tive Hands, here's one of the sweetest little bunny cards. I just adore this cutie. Here's the cutest little Bestie from Sherri Baldy today. I hope this girl gives you a big smile. Here's a fun girl from the Greeting Farm.  I totally love their adorable little girl stamps, esp the sassy ones. I added a sweet and simple sentiment, "You are my best friend." you know who you are.  Hope you are having a great day, despite the rain and the fact that you have to be moving.  Hopefully there will be periodic periods of sun in the sky just for you.

Hope everyone is having a great week. The card classes I taught went all this week. Had a total of 13 students which is really good for this location. Now off to get ready for my July class at Toybrary.

Love is sweet

Here's the cutest bear from Lily of the Valley. Don't you just love their stamps?  Too sweet. I got this sweet die cut from a fun company before they closed. I cut out the rectangular die cut and put the image inside the card.

Here's an awesome thank you card that I received from overseas this week.  This stamp is the prize that Maja got from me during the Feb Celebration. I was so delighted to receive this amazing card with such beautiful colors and embellishments that she created.

I hope everyone had a great week, I can't believe the last week of May is already upon us!  I know lots of school kids who are super excited as the end of the year is approaching and lots of parents who are getting emotional as their kids are approaching graduation.  For me, I have a card class next week followed by vacation bible school the following week and another card class not far after that.  Much work is coming.  Now's the time for my guardian angel to help!

Lucy Loo

They are having a great contest over on The East Wind blog, this time it's a tic tac toe, so you just pic three items to make your card qualify.  My three items are Buttons, TEW image and Sparkly or shiny for the paper I chose with shimmer and silver shine.  I also did the other direction on the tic tac toe to double up the fun and did doodles (the dots), TEW image and designer paper.

Dance to the beat of your own Drum

Here's another card in Pink today, but this card is using great papers from Paper Temptress. This shimmery paper is Mica/Metallic and I have an adorable image from artist Lizzy Love of Oddball Art Stamps.  There's a great anything goes contest at Your Scrapbook Place Challenge blog using Lizzy Love stamps, so be sure and share all your Oddball Art creations there too.

The fun papers I am using on this card is Mica/metallic base Azelea.  The image was printed out in Neenah Solar White Classic Crest and is layered on Basis Black.  I used a corner trimmer to cut the edges off.  The skull die cuts have a wonderful texture because they are Ruche cardstock in white.

Hope you will start dancing to the beat of your own drum!

Skulls!

Here's one of my favorites, yep, skulls! Aren't they just too cute? this image comes from Dilly Beans. I just adore this artist's great images, not just her skulls, but also her darling girl images. TOO fun.  I can't believe we are almost at the end of the first week of May!

Where has the time gone?  I am already approaching two classes I am teaching as well as the upcoming VBS and then a father's day card making class at a local Toy library.  What's a toy library you ask? it's a place where kids and their parents can go play for $5 or go and check out toys and take them home!

Card Class in Austin

I am getting ready for a card class for my local neighborhood. It will be held at Crestview United Methodist Church room on March 25, Wed, at 10:30 am and 6:30 PM.  cost is just $5 for materials and all you need to bring is your smiling face! It's a fun beginner level class for putting a few simple cards together while having a little fun with a local group.  If you are local, I hope you will sign up or drop by.  Let me know if you are coming so I will have enough class packets to be ready. htondre@aol.com

You will make three cards, the first two can either be Father's day or Birthday theme.  I have stamps and die cuts that will allow you to change what they say on the front.

Here's an awesome image from Kenny K that I used to make my Hubby a card.  I know I just made him one because of my anniversary, but we had such a good time I just had to make him something special.  I can't believe that next year will mark 20 years (only 15 married).
