Here's some more of the fun calendars that I made for fellow co-workers and church members.  The top image comes from TAC;  I think that adorable bird is from Unity, but I am not sure, if you know, please correct me;  The bottom right image is a Grumpling from Taylored Expressions , it's hilarious, the sentiment says "FIT(ish) Someone who like the idea of being fit but equally likes food."

Time Flies

Here's the cutest little boy image from Sherri Baldy. I just LOVE her little girl stamps, but she also has some sweet boy images as well.  I added a simple summer theme sentiment "Time flies when you're having fun."  I have a feeling that time is flying now that I am on vacation."  I can only hope that I am now getting over the change in the time (jet lag) and adjusted to local time.

LLama tell you

Llama tell you, these animals are all the rage right now, and not just in the craft industry!  I have been seeing them everywhere. I half wonder why they are so popular, but then, this die cut is SUPER cute.  So I guess I can see why.

I wonder when I go to Istanbul what I will see that will be so popular that is happening there that hasn't hit the USA yet.  I have seen all kinds of things and thought, hmm that would be great for crafts only to see it pop up in scrapbooking two years later!  Guess they are ahead of the curve.

Life Captured

Hello everyone, it's mid week and we are still having a great challenge over at Outlaws, I made this card for the Monday Greetings Challenge contest. The sponsor was Scribbles Designs and I used this beautiful flower sketch stamps.  The theme is to use summer colors (your card does not need to be summer theme just use some bright summer colors).  Of course, as always, be sure to use a sentiment somewhere on the front of your card.

Dr Who

I thought this fun image from Faery Ink with a Doctor Who theme would be perfect for today since I will be spending a whopping SEVEN AND A HALF hours, yep, 7.5 hours in the London airport. Woah, I am sure that airport is fascinating, but not many things are 7.5 hours of fascinating.

In fairness, You will really only have like 6 hours or so to kill as you know they will take 45+ min off on each side boarding and deplaning.

Off I go....I am my dreams

Here's the perfect card for today. I am taking off for vacation. I thought this ribbon was just perfect, it's the skyline of Istanbul!  How cool is that?  The sentiment says "I am my dreams."  So true for today.  The flight will be quite long. It's over 9 hours on the first flight, a UGH, 7 hour layover and then 4 more hours to get to Istanbul by MIDNIGHT the following day.

So ready though!  It will be a difficult time change though.  Wish me luck!

Friendship cards part 2

Here's two more of the wonderful Anna Griffin friendship cards.  I thought these kits were super cute and a great way to get some crafting in during my June break when my arm was injured.  I did add my own lace to them as well as some buttons.

Do you like the Turkish Lace on these cards? does it seem like it comes in the kits?  I thought it matched nicely.

Here's some sweet friend theme cards that I got in a kit from Anna Griffin.  These kits were super cute and great way to get a little crafting in that was fun, quick and easy when I am going through rehab.  This card kit is Friendship theme.

Life is good

Here's a cute little girl from Digistamp Boutique.  I am using some great ribbon from Turkiye on it.  I love this silver and black embroidered ribbon.  I added a simple sentiment "life is good."  I hope you like her today.

Have a wonderful Friday.  Today I should be seeing my surgeon who did my elbow replacement surgery and getting cleared to go back to work when school starts in Fall, lol, fall, ha! Make it Aug 13th, quite a while before fall if you ask me!!

Just because

Here's a cute and sexy cards, guess I have been sharing a lot of those lately as I have been making many cards for the hubby as I get ready to go on vacation.  Will miss him tons!!  Gotta leave sweet notes for him while I am gone.

This cute image comes from Stamping Chef, now Slinky Tarts.  I would say I would dress up like that (no) and wash the floors like she is (ummm, no), but, let a man have his fantasies, lol!

Fill your shoes

Here's a darling image from Stamping Bella.  This is much older image, I can't think of when I got this stamp.  She's cute thought. I added the sentiment "no one can EVER fill your shoes."  How sweet is that? 

Hope you are having a great week.  I am on a major countdown to vacation now.  Going to therapy today though, I wish I had just a little extra time to squeeze in some more therapy sessions.

Here's a wonderful image from Tiddly Inks.  I am also using some great lace from Turkiye.  It's about a week before I will actually be there, though my flight will be on the 25th.  I can't wait to see my friend and her family.  What a beautiful and exciting city to be in, Istanbul, and then to travel and see such important Biblical sites.

Here's a wonderful card that I recently received from guest designer Karen Ladd. She sent me this card after hearing about my fall which broke my elbow resulting in a surgical replacement.  Thanks so very much Karen! This card is TOO cute.  That little bird made me smile.

Summer time

Here's a hilarious Grumpling image and sentiment. I am sure you all have noticed how much I adore these funny stamps from Taylored Expressions.  TOO cute.  I thought this was just prefect for the Summer Time.  I don't imagine I will be doing much floating in the water this summer...I don't think I would need an inner tube to be looking fat, lol!

Gorjuss Girl

Here's one of my favorite characters. I am sure that is obvious due to my blog layout.  It's Gorjuss Girls.  I just love her!  Being in Europe this summer I should see a lot more of this character there than I see in the USA.

I am also using some wonderful lace from Turkiye on this card.  So lovely isn't it?  I am sure I will be coming home with a whole suitcase full of it. Ha!

Sharing this HOT HOT HOT image from Simply Betty Stamps. I just love her woman images. She has some great ladies.  I thought this one was just perfect for the hubby. Love letters, lingerie, and chocolates.  What more could a man want?

Here's a cute stamp from Bugaboo, I love this stamp line from them, it's called Skelekinz. TOO cute.  I have a whole set of these adorable little kids.  I had to add some other wonderful skull theme embellishments to go with this card on some shimmery Bazzill paper.

Girls just wanna have fun

Here's the cutest image from Scribbles Designs today.  I made this card for the Monday Greetings challenge over at Outlawz.  The theme this week is to include a die cut (store bought or you cut one) on your card. Of course as always, don't forget to include a greeting as well.  

I thought this cute Luau theme image would be perfect since vacation is approaching.  Super hard with physical therapy happening three times a week.  I do of course see progress, but not nearly as much as I would like!  I guess I am in too much of a hurry and the body can only heal so fast.  Your thoughts and prayers are appreciated.

Here's another stunning card made by Linda Simpson using a prize that she received during the February Celebration.  This adorable image comes from Enchanted School on Etsy.  Isn't this card Fabulous? I just love the colored paper she chose and those adorable green buttons that match her dress perfectly!

Party Dressed Peggy

Here's a sweet recent stamp created by Sandra Caldwell and added to her Etsy store, Babycakes DND.  She's called #2223 Party Dressed Peggy.  I colored her up with Copic markers and added some cute Love theme embellishments.  She's just darling.

Well, i'm a week into therapy now...just two more weeks to go and it's vacation time.

I really can't wait to see that when I get to Turkey!  I said I would share some photos of the lace stores.  Here's just a few photos.  There's literally dozens and dozens of stores that sell lace all in the "lace district". It's store after store after store...WOAH

I can't believe its the first week of June now, vacation in right around the corner!  I am in the middle of therapy on my elbow now trying to get movement of my left arm again.
