This day is a somber day of memory here in America. I know my kids do not know or understand anything of such. Nor do I ever hope they will understand such an event in their lifetime. My thoughts and prayers go out to all those directly effected by the events on 9/11 both those killed and injured as well as those who fought and saved.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous card. Yes, I was teaching first grade that day. It was an extremely difficult topic to explain to little ones. Lots of love and hugs that day and reassurance.
