Queen Kat Stamps -NEW BLOG CANDY

Here's a great introduction to a wonderful company that I will be a designer for, Queen Kat Stamps. I love the beautiful AND the quirky style stamps that they have. This fairy is definitely on the beauty side. They have a huge array of stamp designs and I just love the variety. I was so excited to be chosen by them. To make this card, I used wonderful papers here from The Paper Temptress.

Here's a highlight that shows some detailing of the paper (check out the red columns and the texturing on the black ruche). I added some great spritz that I got in Vanilla that I added to the background. I think it just makes the fairy look like she's on the air.

This fairy image is called "Come to me fairy" by Fantasy Artist Amy Brown (click here to see at the store).

It's another BLOG CANDY day and today's feature is a wonderful stamp prize sent straight from Queen Kat stamp to the winner! I also have a great $20 gift certificate from The Paper Temptress. There are several other wonderful prizes--paper from The Angel Company in 8x8 tablets and some stunning Handmade Paper from India from Paper Passport called "Mini Scraps" by ProvoCraft.

    My favorite designer would have to be Ink Stained Roni. As far as paper, haven't used any of these, but I would have to say copic paper, love using copics. Hope this helps! I've only used Gina K luxury cardstock for copics so far. Thanks for the chance! Hugs!

    What a pretty card. Wow, both are hard to pick just one. I guess my favorite artist would be Amy Brown because I love to use fairies on my cards but a close second would be Diana Vick. My favorite paper is the Mica but I also love the Lustre.

    O WOW! Congratulations Holley on your new Designing spot. That is awesom!!! And look's like this new stamps very beautiful line. I love butterflies and Angels, flowers, so Sweet Pea has all that in the stamps, and this is my favorite company for a long time. Papers???? Any paper with a glitter is my fave. LOL. I just love glitter. And i like SU paper.

    I'm a nut for fairy images so I really like Amy Brown style. The fairy you just did looks like a fire fairy the way you colored her...wonderful. For the paper line I like muted/vintage colors like in the Brown Bag Kraft Packages.

    My favorite paper package was the Brawny. I use those colors often. I also liked the Gear Box Collection. I can see myself using those for all kinds of neat projects. :) HUGS! I'm so glad you're up and at 'em!!

    I can't get over how you color with your Copics! Love your designs. I checked out the designers over at Queen Kat and fell in love with Che Gilson's Goth images, especially Elf Boy, Punk Boy and Veronica Cabaret Fairy. At Paper Temtress I was tempted by the Ruche line, any and every color. Nothing better than a nice heavy cardsdtock paper! Thanks for the wonderful opps to win candy this month!

    Wow! Congrats on the design job!! Very cool! Goes to show they have GREAT taste, your creations are drop dead gorgeous!! Sadly mine look like my 7 yr old did them!! lol
    I have not visited Queen Kat Stamps before, There are a LOT of cool stamps over there!!
    It was hard to decide~
    It was a toss up with Amy Brown collections and Valerie Wade collection. I have a housefull of kids so kind themes are always one of my faves.
    OH my....
    I have never been to the Paper Temptress but now i know WHY she is named that!!!!
    I am a Paper junkie at heart and there is NO NO NO way i can pick just one i love!!
    The velvet paper is Sooo elegant, the glimmer cardstock is amazing, the Colored Kraft is very cool! something i have NONE of in my stash!!***sigh***
    I could go on and on and on........

    Oh there are so many fabulous things to choose from! My favorite designer from Queen Kat's would be Amy Brown - love those fantasy drawings :) The Paper Temptress was much more difficult because paper is my passion but I LOVE those Colored Brown Kraft Papers - the colors are so amazing! I am pretty sure I signed up for the game, have been playing off and on so I will go back and make sure :) I am loving your game!

    Boy it was hard to choose they are all so talented but I picked Kelly Ann Kost like her stamps . My favorite paper was the A+ Ruche love the colors Thanks for the chance to win

    beautiful card. The wings are truly spectacular.

    I love so many of the stamps at Queen Kat's place especially Ducky Dragon by Melia Newman.

    I love all the papers I've bought at the Paper Temptress. If I choose one it has to be the Cryogen white iridescent.

    Holley - Thanks for introducing me to new stamp designers! At Queen Kat's, my favorite designer is Roni Johnson. I love her Briggette stamp! At Paper Temptress, my favorite paper is the Neenah Solar White, as I am just starting out with copic Markers and this would be great to try out.     I enjoyed this little fairy and I think your colors are very vibrant layered with black.I think I will dream of going skipping with her tonight!!
    My favorite artist is Inked Stained Roni and my favorite paper is Classic Linen! After looking at so many of the stamps I had a hard time deciding til I saw Ink Stained Roni and want her stamps badly!!!

    the collection i like at queen kat's is gear box collection, and my all-time favorite paper is Red Pepper Skinny and thick Columns.

    Hi Holley, what a totally hard choice.

    First have to say love your card she looks firey, and the red glitter card and fab flowers are perfect, not colours I would use at all more a blues and greens and purples girl myself.

    Well my fav stamps of all times at the momement is a close call between sugaer nellie and LOTV, but I know my son would love a cardmade with some of the stamps that boyz toyz has in their line up.

    Papers and card, well personally I love the pearlised and parchment and glitter cards and papers but have to say that for guy cards and as I seem to make lots of those too I do like to use the leather pares and cards, and the boys do seem to favour these too but I also like the textured ones.

    I love fairy images of all kinds. I've painted quite a few of my own designs onto clothing for our daughter. So far I only have a small handful of fairy stamps but really like the one you show here.

    Amy, I've been following your trials online, and am so happy to hear things are getting better for you! I'd never been to the Queen Kat's or PaperTemprest websites, but was quite interested so will definitely be back to check them out again! I really like fairies, and Amy Brown's work is wonderful, but I also have a bunch of boys at home, so the boyz toyz and studio 77 are great, too! At paper temptrest I think I would get in too much trouble, because I love all sorts of paper! My favorite there was True's Favorites in the value packs - such pretty colors, and a varity of paper types!

    Took me quite a while to decide on a favorite - they are all fantastic. Finally decided on Ink Stained Roni and the Sparkle paper. The stamps and paper are so different than what I usually see. Nice variety.

    omg i think i would be in total heaven in either of these stores and wow it was hard to choose but one of my fave artists was Myka Jalina and i loved most of the papers but the Mica Matallics looked pretty gorgeous,thankyou for another fab chance of winning your so generous and the prizes are wicked xx

    Wow, Holley, way to be an enabler!! LOL!! I, too, haven't been to either site before... good golly Miss Mollie, they are awesome! I really loved Amy Brown's fairies and can't help but still love the Neenah Solar White, but wow, there were some awesome choices there!!!!

    I keep looking and you just have not picked me yet... I must be the only one with all this cool candy..
    I would say my favorite stamp artest on kat stamps would be amy brown.
    And fav paper on paper temptress.. would be all of them... I just got a shipment today but todays favorite would be the amethyst mica.. I love that one

    anyhow, I loev your card, as always. the thing I like the most is teh fairy of course

    i like how you colored her wings she looks like a monarch butterfly very pretty.

    for the blog candy questions, my favorite artist is Fantasy Art of Maigan Lynn. she has so many cute beautiful and unique characetrs for her stamps. very large selection too.

    my favorite paper from paper temptress is Glimmer paper. i love the range of colors and i thikn it would make a nice backgroudn to any coloring to match the images of maigan lynn.

    A very interesting site, the choice of designers is incredible. I think I would have to pick Fantasy Art of Amy Brown - her fairies are wonderful - and for the papers, my pick would be mica/metallic.

    My favorite of the Queen Kat stamps is the silhouette fairy stamps. And the Paper Temptress has many beautiful papers, but I probably use the Eclipse black the most. The cryogen white is also fantastic.

    My favorite artist would be Amy Brown as I love her fairies. (Did you see the wings on them???) It was sort of a toss up between her and Gothic Dollie as I love her work too. Paper would be mica metallic but it is all wonderful. I can find something to do with every paper in there...LOL.
    I love your card. That fairy is gorgeous and I love how you embellished with the black flowers. I love them! Your colors are outstanding .

    Hi Holley...
    Congrats on being selected as a designer! As far as my faves...I love Amy Brown's Fairies (your card may have impacted my decision) lol. I have not used any of the paper from Paper Temptress however, I checked out the website and love the colors of the sorbet collection - may have to try some of those!! Some great combinations there!

    From Queen Kat, I love Maigan Lynn - I think it's the fabulous hair they all have. I have good hair envy.

    From Paper Temptress, I would love to try some of the Neenah cardstock. I use plain old Walmart variety now.
