It's time for a quick and easy stamped card for a little inspiration. This stunning image comes from the Stamp-It Discovery Collection and is called Rose Clock. It's a large image which covers the front of your card and makes a gorgeous centerpiece, it measures (when stamped approx 3.5 x 2.5 inches). To highlight the image, I really wanted to bring out the pink, so I used alcohol ink makers to color the rose.
After coloring the rose, I used Chalk inks to brush the edges of the torn paper. I used wonderful shimmery purple metallic based paper from Crafter's Companion as the background on this card and punched pink paper. I just love the saying it has "Gather the Rose of Love whilst there is yet Time. Edmund Spensor." Last week's candy winner gets One set of Rock-a-blocks PLUS a set of Popcorn Bear stamps, the winner will be announced tomorrow, so check back to find out if the winner is you!
