I Love You

Here's an awesome image that I got from The East Wind. I just had to use this image to make a beautiful valentine for the hubby.  I hope he loves it.  Have a Happy Valentine's Day everyone.  I have always wondered if this was celebrated all over the world or just in the USA?

Did you all know that there actually was a Saint Valentine?  St. Valentine is also the Patron Saint of Epilepsy.  Well, that's my little bit of  info for the day.  I guess it didn't occur to me before, but perhaps he was praying for me when I had my surgery so close to valentine's day!

    I think that St. Valentine's Day is celebrated everywhere now. Yes, it is popular in Russia a lot, mostly the young peopl edo celebrate it somehow, with cakes, sweets, hears and so on..

    Hi Holley, we have Valentine's day here in Australia, mainly red roses and gifts. the local newspaper used to have pages to and from but the pages have dwindeled from 10 is to about 4 .... maybe due to cost or lack of interest, who knows. Prices rocket at Valentine's. love the lady on the card

    She is so modest looking really cute! Hey Holley did you know that on Valentine’s Day Italians prefer having romantic dinners and exchanging gifts. Also, they have a tradition of giving chocolate to loved ones and they believe, size does matter, the bigger the chocolate, the stronger the love you will have. Can you imagine the box hubby would give you?? You could share all around the world with all of us.

    Beautiful card Holley, I am sure he will love it. I did know there was a St. Valentine however I did not know he was the Patron Saint of Epilepsy. I don't know who else celebrates Valentine's Day. That is a good question.

    Beautiful card Holley. We spent Valentines Day at the hospital with our son. He was in hypo volemic shock, which they told us meant severe dehydration. Did you know that Depokote (his anticonvulsant medication) can cause that? We sure didn't. What a scare.
