Ike's Art

Here's an awesome image from one of my favorites, Ike's Art.  This store is offering prizes this month so be sure to check out the awesome stamps!  I love this image, it's called Catrina.  I love her stunning lady images and her handsome men.  Ooo la la.  She also has a great challenge blog where there are wonderful freebies that you can use to play along with the current challenge (CLICK HERE).  Check out her most recent challenge, it's for Valentine's Day.  There's a wonderful freebie that you can use to play along.  I think this awesome bride is all about LOVE, she's looking for her partner even now.



Question of the day:  what type stamp images are you favorite?  Flowers? People? dark images? scenery?  sentiments?  alphabets?

For me, hmmm, I love little girls, cute and funny, sassy sayings and I LOVE Halloween!  Love skulls and brains (maybe that's because of surgery).  I also love sexy lady images that I can use to make cards for my hubby, cute little animals, esp bears and owls.

    My favoutite stamps,.........Flowers, landscapes, sexy ladies, animals just like you, owls, deer, birds ect.

    I know you like "dark" images and you totally rock making stuff at them. This card is wonderful too! :)
    For me, I love cute and vintage images the most. I absolutely love The Greeting Farm stamps, CC designs stamps and other cutie patooties, but also more realistic stamps (like flowers and nature) and Christmas stamps (as Christmas is my favourite holiday). Stamps I don't like are skulls, zombies etc. - spooky stuff or sexy images.

    Fab coloring on Catrina and beautiful card. I to, love dark images, but also fantasy, sexy, and cute and quirky. Depends on my mood. Love animals too, kitties are my fave there! xxD

    I just love that bride, Holley! I love images of zombies and steampunk, but I seldom use them because I mostly make things to post, so they are not always the best subjects. For posting and sending purposes, I love flowers (can't make a mistake coloring those LOL), butterflies, and silly animals.

    Nice job with the bride card. I like flowers, old cars and other stamps to do male cards, birds, ocean scenery.

    Your card is totally awesome! I like seeing dark creations but my passion is scenery! I love all things trees, stars and clouds!
    I also love fantasy images like fairies, mermaids, dragons and gnomes or realistic animals and people.
    I am trying to get more kiddie stamps to make coloring books for kids in the hospital! After sorting through my stamps a couple weeks ago I realized that I have very few kid stamps and I need to rectify that ASAP!
    If I was able to print out digi stamps I would definitely get Angels and Demons and Skellie Gossip from Ike's Art!
    You always introduce me to new shops and I am grateful for that! See you tomorrow! :-)

    I loved reading what type of stamps you like! I also enjoyed reading the comments to see what everyone likes for images! The answer to this question is so easy for me: cats! Love cats! Cats, cats, and more cats! I also like other cute critters like bunnies, hedgies, baby elephants, and ducks. Also love snowmen and snowflakes.     Nice color combination! Even though I'm not a skelleton person I like your creation :)
    I love coloring critters because it doesn't really matter if you miss a shade.. If you colour a preson, and it looks wierd everyone will notice, but if you color animals everybody thinks you made it on purpose :)
    I also enjoy coloring flowers and nature images, it's just so calming. :)

    Your card is stunning! I usually prefer cute images, but most of my card making is for a specific person or event, so I try to find images that suit. I'm always looking for unique birthday and Christmas images.

    Oooh La La!
    The type of stamps I'm drawn to are the oddly quirky ones...I just purchased a stamp of a fish with human appendages. Also, with 5 Grandsons, I am always searching for masculine stamps. Ooooh...Nature too...I love Nature stamps especially deer and trees.

    Love, love, love this card and the image. I really like stamps of quirky images, skulls, mermaids, ocean/sea related, scenery, flamingos (my current fave), pelicans & pirates, anything odd I can use in collage. Dislike working with cute images. I also like realistic women & odd women, but not the cute funny eyed ones.

    Haha, I would not want to meet this sassy woman in a dark hallway, that's for sure! I love vintage images and detailed landscapes, and also images that can be combined to make scenes for various occasions. I make a lot of cards for my two granddaughters, who love cute and whimsical designs.

    Oooh, spooky! With two little girls, I tend to like cute images of critters, and images that don't take too much coloring. Wish I had more time to craft, but I need to grab minutes during the day so coloring doesn't usually get done!

    My very favorite stamps are flowers and butterflies/dragonflies. I like Dragon stamps as well.
    I don't like the highly detailed stamps anymore because since my stroke, I can't paint them as well as I used to.

    What a neat card. It's a lil on the dark side and I like it. I would have to say the images I use most are steam punk, darker images at times, skulls, but I also like animals, cute ones, funny ones, back ground stamps and I can't forget the butterflies. Love me some butterflies. Mixed media type images, owls, Halloween type ones too. So their a variety with me.

    Ooh, I don't think I've seen this image before in Ike's Store. I'll have to go scope it out now. I like most any kind of stamp, especially one I can twist into a funny or punny greeting. I also like to use images out of context, like a witch on a Valentine's card. That's just my twisted sense of humor.

    Interesting card. I'm not into skeletons much except at Halloween. But I like the color combo. I usually go more for a cutesy style. Love flowers and critters. I think I shy away from people because I don;t think I color them well. I need more practice.

    Hi Holley - I am not a fan of the skeleton for valentines day! Halloween, maybe. I have been looking for typewriter stamps and telephone stamps and I love matching stamps and dies. Stampin Up had a couple of typewriter sets, but I couldn't bring myself to spend the money. I prefer solid stamps because of my hesitance with coloring and shading, but I love the Stamping Bella cute people images. I also love word stamps and sayings for inside cards!
