So here's a card where I am trying to use some blue and green which are not my normal colors, though in fairness, I didn't color in blue and green here.

it's super beautiful Holley, I don't have a special colour but most of the time I use white.

What a cutie! Love your color scheme. I make a lot of cards with pink & brown or black, and a lot with teal. Teal is my fave color in almost everything except mashed potatoes. LOL

I personally like blue. Green a bit less, but I'm trying to work with it as well. I think your card turned out great, even though you used the colours that are a bit out of your comfort zone.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite have to be pink, purple and also blue, though I like to experiment with other colours as well. Oh, and I'm currently much into gold as well, especially in combination with white.
My least favourite colours are probably grey and black.

ReplyDeleteSuch a fun and cute card. I love teal. That's my favorite color. So when crafting I tend to use trals, blues and I like adding purple and pink with those colors. I'm not big on yellows and reds. But use them occasionally.

ReplyDeleteI like the card and the color combos, you made it all work together beautifully. I like to work with (in order) blues, greens, purples, burgundy, black, gold & cream. Least favorites are brown, orange or yellow. often at all.

ReplyDeleteI love pink in all ways and forms. craft with it all the time. same goes for kraft paper. use it on almost all of my projects. I like purple irl, but it seems to be a challenge for me when crafting. don't like red irl, but I do seem to use it a lot on my projects. go figure. ;)

ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable card but I know how hard it is to use certain colors. For me the color that I almost never use is mint green. I love other shades of green, just not the pastel green.
ReplyDeleteHolley, Adorable, wonderful job and great colors and love Bugaboo images. My very favorite color is green in all shades the color of the earth. I really love blues but they are hard to work with because of all the shades, blue/purple, green/blue, teals and if you do not get it right, not so good. Love reds, yellows are such a happy color. I could go on and on. Have a super day!

A big pat on the back for using colors that you don't normally use. The result is an adorable little card! I tend to avoid pastel colors and have the hardest time with pastel pink and yellow. I can't ever get them to look right or to coordinate with anything else. Lavender also gives me problems! My favorite colors are deep jewel tones of blue and deep red. I also like black and white with one bold color.

ReplyDeleteWow I don't know that I have a specific favorite color. I like to use a lot of lighter and sometimes brighter colors in my projects. I don't use as many oranges and darker greens.

Adorable! Bugaboo is one of my favorite for digital images. I love most colors and I think I use most (although I think I've been on a blue kick lately). I don't think I use brown or grey very often and black is usually reserved for layering.
