Happy Monday everyone! Today I am sharing a card I made using an image from Sheepski Designs. I made this card for the current Challenge over on Outlaws Monday Greetings challenge. Our theme this week is winter. As always, don't forget to add a sentiment to the front of your card!
Question of the day: what types of die cuts do you like? shapes? borders? topics? animals? flowers? small embellishments?
Can you all guess what I have been doing with my free time? LOL, like I have any of that. In addition to working and having this celebration, I am also making myself start walking again and getting ready for the upcoming Capitol 10k Run/Walk. So far I am about 4.25 miles a day. (that's and hour and half after school lets out, when you know you are tired, lol!).
Anyways, I have been taking your answers and STARTING packages for the winners (and maybe, but you didn't hear it from me) and upcoming winners of the blog candy, because I have SO many more envies in this pic than I have names on the list!! HINT HINT Packages are NO where near done as I don't have all your answers--so don't forget to give me your answers and of course, you may get picked again which means even more goodies in your envie :)
NOTE: If you didn't leave comment on Feb 1st, please go back and do so as winners will get picked from there everyday! CLICK HERE. Also winners have not been picked from the 13th through the 19th yet if you haven't commented on those days. Check the winner list HERE.

LOL, what a cute image of that snowman making snow angels! Just hearing about all that you are taking on makes me tired so I hope you don't over-do it. I've had to pull back a little with some of my activities because I havent' been taking care of myself as much as I should. a few weeks of rest should get me back to my energetic self, or so I hope. I like die cuts that can be used on cards and aren't too small, because I always lose small bits and pieces! Frames and shapes, and animals are always fun.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I forgot to say that I don't use intricate flower dies that have too many parts (or the rolled flower type dies) because I always make SUCH a mess of them! So, my go-to dies are usually nested shapes or larger images.
DeleteAdorable card Holley that snowman is great.
ReplyDeleteDies I use mainly are smaller shape ones to put sentiments in them and I like to make my own flowers to match up and that way they stay flat to mail them. I've got a few word ones that are great to use too.
That is one huge pole of envelopes all packed up too Wow
So cute, the snowman looks like he is having a great time. I like most dies but find borders are useful. Hugs Jennifer xx
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute snowman! I love flower dies, borders and also sentiments such as birtday greetings
ReplyDeleteHi Holley this is a stunning card I do love that snowman. Have a great week. Take care. Hugs Jackie
ReplyDeleteCute card and I love snowmen cards but I am soooo over winter!! lol
ReplyDeleteLove your card it is fitting for Washington as we got snow yesterday!!!! I love snow especially when I don’t have to go anywhere!!!! I think my favorite dies are shapes and the shapes with holes 😋
ReplyDeleteI love this card! Colors and embellishments go together perfectly! Making snow angels was always a favorite with my kids. I mostly use shape die cuts, for any and all seasons, or just because. I tend to use smaller embellishments- rhinestones, brads, and little accents.
ReplyDeletebeautiful card Holley.
ReplyDeleteand you know I love all diecuts.
Gr Karin
Adorable card, Holley. I use all sorts of die cuts... shapes, flowers, borders, frames
ReplyDeleteSo cute and love this snow angel!
ReplyDeleteI love all type of dies and always tried to go with my theme whether it is scene, floral theme, snow theme, shapes, borders, characters, critters, textural everything!
Love it, a snow man making a snow angel! As for die cuts, I like most of them and have so few. I need to actually get some tropical themed ones. Animals would be nice. I usually go for embellishment type dies.
ReplyDeleteI love snowmen, your card is so cute in our TX colors! I like the stitched frame dies, I'm always looking for a swirl die and trees.
ReplyDeleteYou are such a busy lady and I hope you don't overdo it!! Your snowman card is so fun and cute! I just love it. I love all dies, I mean I REALLY love all dies (addict here!) but lately I have been buying frames and shapes, especially intricate shapes and some heart dies!
ReplyDeleteHugs!
Darcy
Cute image! I love the background paper!
ReplyDeleteI like all kinds of dies, but butterflies are a particular favorite, and flowers. I still use the sunflower die set you sent me several years ago. Its still one of my favorites!
This is wonderful, love this snowman, good luck with the postage. I have replied and thank you :)

ReplyDeletePat Ridings
fabulous card, I guess my favorite in dies are the frames, and borders. use them a lot
ReplyDeleteI love the snow angel snowman. this is so great! I love all kinds of die cuts. I like butterflies and flowers the best.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great background card. I'm big into anything snowflakes. WOW. 4.25 miles a day???? That's is terrific. Let's see, dies....hmmmm....mostly I lean toward borders, backgrounds and words. But anything is good. Congrats to you on your walking. hugs, Barbara
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute snowman!!! Its so weird the temps outside today are spring like. I should be out there walking too. Need more motivation for that though. I love all types of die cuts. I've been trying to make my own flowers so I have them to add to my projects but I get bored with only one kind of flower at times. I could use more designs. I also like Bitterflies, words, background type, shapes. I dont have many dies so any will work for me really. Diecuts, I can make anywork in my projects Im sure. Flowers, shapes, steam punk, gears letters. All of them. Lol and Im the big butterfly lover here!!!! I use them on anything I can. 😁
ReplyDeleteThis guy is adorable. I love the arms looking like they are frozen in ice cubes. My dies are varied. I have the usual circle, square, oval, heart and numerous labels. But I also have crosses, flowers, butterflies, swirls, leaves, snowflakes, and of course, Christmas. In other words, I have a lot and I love using them. I can't seem to get enough of them. So much better than the cutting around images we used to have to do.
ReplyDeleteHow cute your snow angel is Holley!
ReplyDeleteI love word dies, flower dies, and shapes!
Such a fun card Holley!

ReplyDeletemy favorite dies are border dies.
hugs
Such a cute image and great paper for the Winter theme. Holley. As for dies? I never met one I didn't like. LOL xxD
ReplyDeletehahaha a snowman angel, love him. and i like embellishment dies best and congrats on the walking
ReplyDeleteThis happy snowman is so cute as he gets busy making snow angels! Good for you, adding walking to your daily schedule. That's something I think most of us could benefit from. My favorite dies are nested shapes, or shapes like arrows, banners, larged flowers. I also use border dies but my eyesight prevents me from using fiddly type dies with a lot of teeny parts. I saw a set of sewing dies in your prize stash that really called to me and am keeping my fingers crossed!
ReplyDeleteLovely card as usual Holley
ReplyDeleteHa! Snomwan snowangels. Ha. I love dies. Animal dies are such fun and I love background and collage dies. Anything a bit unusual is fun. Shapes. Anything really. Frankenstein rocks. Hugz
ReplyDeleteHi Holley - warm day in Austin thankfully. I love all diecuts! I use them in scrapbooks and on cards! I especially like border diecuts. Bazill used to make them. I don't know if they still do! Audrey R in Austin
ReplyDeleteI like border, topics (especially word ones), flowers & small embellishments.

Love this Snow Angel making snowman! Totally adorable!
ReplyDeleteI love Floral die cuts, realistic animals and things from nature. Shapes are also great for making uniquely shaped cards! TFS!
Such a fun snowman. I like border die cuts. Congrats on the walking. I need to do more of that. Maybe once winter is over.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness this is too cute with this snow angel making the snowman! Love it! I love die cuts of ferns, ivy, vines, leaves and other foiliage!
ReplyDeleteI love lots of different die cuts. Some I use as mats, others I use the image like bunnies, flowers, the Eiffel Tower, hearts, snowmen, windows, doors, other animals, etc.
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun snowman!!! I use detailed diecuts or titles otherwise!
ReplyDeleteSomehow, I got my comment for this card on yesterday's post, so today, I'll says thanks so much for your generosity in doing this each year. I know it must take countless hours to coordinate it all.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this card and I love any kind .
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Holley. I love that background. I use a lot of butterfly and flower die cuts and sentiments too. Cathy x
ReplyDeleteHow how cute is your card! Love the color and the adorable snow man.
ReplyDeleteI like die cuts that are easy to use, like borders or basic shapes :)
What a lovely card xx Jan
ReplyDeleteThis snowman card is so cute. The background paper is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute snowman. I love your card. I mostly like animal and flowery die cuts.
ReplyDeleteThis snowman card make me smile when I saw it but, with the weather suddenly taking a cold spell I would rather see my snow on cards and not in person! I like fancy nested dies, basic shapes, and most themes except for religious or dies that make a 3-D design. My cards need to be flat since I donate many of them to hospitals and nursing homes.
ReplyDeleteI used to love to make snow angels. What a fun card. I guess I like shapes best but I do have embellishments as well.
ReplyDeleteAndrea sure has enlarged her shop at Sheepski Designs! I love this snowman card you made.
ReplyDeleteWOWZERS, Holley, that's a LOT of envies!
I like borders and things I can use behind images. I have an Epic Six which takes dies like Memory Makers and other thin dies but I rarely buy dies unless they're on clearance. Not in my budget.
What a darling card and what a big load of envelopes for you to fill Holley! I like die cut borders, shapes and fancy nested frames that can be the focal point of a card by themselves. I don't use dies that have a lot of small parts as my fingers don't seem to hang onto them very well, and I prefer flatter dies that can fit into envelopes for mailing. I also like animal or nature shapes.
ReplyDeleteI just love all die cuts especially ones with matching stamps. This image is so cute it just makes me smile
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute image and great card Holley! I use so many die cuts I have dies for all sorts of things from backgrounds to tiny details, I also use them for mixed media! x
ReplyDeleteIt's sort of fun to see this card today when we have a hug storm moving through with low snow levels. It seems like a perfect day to make some snow angels. My most used die cuts are borders and edges.
ReplyDeleteI do not own any dies yet. Prefer stitched borders dies.
