Sugar Skull

Here's an awesome Dia De Los Muertos image from TLKreations on Etsy. I love this detailed image.  I colored it up with an assortment of copic markers and added some colorful sequins and stickers to decorate the card.

Question of the Day:  I am so happy to have some great stamps from TLKreations today to share with you.  Is you favorite the cute owl I shared on the 9th (Click here if you want to go back and look) or this image of the Sugar Skull?

Second Question of the day, there's some things I know I have goodies for, but are they your favorite thing?  Coffee? giraffes? paris? butterflies? Flamingos? hot air balloons?  owls?  just those things that some people absolutely LOVE and others are like....cute but not for me

    It seems to be funny if you like Sugar Skulls... I like the irange paper as a backgraund - this looks bright :)
    My fave themes are Paris, cats, buildings..

    Hi Holley - I love the sugar skull! As for themes, I love everything! But do you have anything cutsie for little boy cards? I have a 3 year old nephew that I send birthday cards to.

    Such a bright, fun and happy card! Though it's not my usual style, that sugar skull is really pretty. I'm always drawn to florals and outdoor images (wood, deer, moose, etc.).

    I would have the say the sugar skull. The owl is cute though. My favorites would be Butterflies, the deer, dreamcatchers, flowers and paris. Anything I can use for mixed media too. I dont use cutesy as much.

    Very colorful image. I know you like them, and that’s great. But they aren’t for me. I like butterflies, flowers, music, etc. very much a traditionalist. Isn’t it nice that there are all kinds of stamps for all kinds of people.

    For some strange reason, I love the Day of the Dead. I love your sugar skull card. I do like 'normal' stamps, but due to problems with my hands, I need stamps that are embossible or with larger designs.

    Great colors! As for choosing between the skull and owl, definitely the owl for me. I love butterflies, angels, fairies, flowers, Paris, coffee.... :)

    Your card looks bright and eyecatching Holley, but I'm not a fan of skulls, so the owl is most definately my favourite.
    Giraffes, butterflues, iwls, even coffee are all lovely. Not Paris. Don't know why, but flamingo images don't make it to my favourites list either.

    I like the Owl over the Sugar Skull. While I appreciate the artistry of the Skull they are not for me lol. Just give me all the authentice mexican food I can eat! I love foxes, Flamingos, fairies and butterflies.

    Thanks for sharing your talent with us all. I liked the Owl image previously as I'm not into the Skulls at all. But some of my favorite things are COFFEE, GIRAFFES, BUTTERFLIES, Old Maps and things with a vintage look.

    This card sure is colourful. I don't dislike it, but I wouldn't choose it, so the owl it has to be for me. All things vintage, butterflies and hot air balloons are some of my favourites

    Love your colorful sugar skull, but the owl is adorable as well. My favorites are animals, especially dogs and cats. I also like vintage designs like Graphic 45, and artsy images like Tim Holtz. Humorous and punny sayings always grab me and yes...I love coffee!!

    I would say that my favorite card would definitely have to be the owl one! Just so precious! My favorite types of stamps are Coffee, Flowers, and Butterflies hands down!

    I like Owls the best over skulls. My favorite: Love Coffee, Love Giraffes & Owls! (also love Cowgirls & Snowmen). I have been lucky enough to find a few Cowboy Snowmen for Christmas cards, gotta love Texas stuff!

    I'm more partial to the owl. Skulls just don't do much for me. I prefer nature stamps, like flowers, trees, leaves. 🙂

    Beautiful card today! I love dia de la meurte! The sugar skull is my fav. I'm also crazy about giraffe! I have a large collection of figurines and statues. Butterflies are also a big love. I am also getting more into bird and ButterflY stamps.

    Awww, this is a fun card! I have a set of sugar skulls but havent even used them yet. I think I'll take your lead and color them in with bright hues! My favorite kinds of images are animals like cats and dogs, cute Christmas reindeer, fruits and trees etc, coffee, polar bears, and anything cute. Designs like the ones from Lawn Fawn,Mama Elephant and Paper Smooches make me squeal!
