Sweets & Treats

Sweets and Treats, I thought that was just perfect theme for this month.  Here's another wonderful stamp from Sandra Caldwell of Babycakes DND that is available for the contest that is happening this month.  There is still one week until the deadline to enter your crafty creations to win additional prizes.  This cutie is called 218 Old lady present.  She's currently on sale and you can make any handmade card to enter in the contest HERE.

    I don't use the cutter machine, and I know nothing of dies, sorry..

    I adore the little old lady images, and the lace is fantastic!

    I have mostly the thin metal dies. They work pretty well for me, and they store well.

    Adorable card! I use mostly thinlit dies, especially ones with matching stamps. Sizzix, Hero Arts, Tim Holtz - whatever appeals to me. I do use embossing folders frequently.

    I don't use dies or folders as much as I should. I do have a Sizzix flower die I love and a Thanks word from Lawn Fawn that gets a lot of use. Another fun image that you chose and perfect for this month!Cute card!

    Fabulous card! I use dies from a variety of companies - Spellbinders, Sizzix, Lawn Fawn. I tend to use frames, coverplates and sentiment dies the most. I do use embossing folders quite often and have a lovely collection :)

    Oh that pink lace is my favorite so far! Love it. I do use embossing folders and my favorite die cuts would be tropical ones but I don't have enough of them to have a favorite company, lol.

    This image is so cute, Holley. My favorite die cut company is Spellbinders. They always cut nicely. Mostly I used butterflies, music, florals, and flourishes. Yes, I use embossing folders, mainly as backgrounds for my cards.

    Hero Arts are my favorite dies because of the Infinity Dies, circles and rectangles, that will fit anything I print out. I also have a huge binder of embossing folders. I love to run them through and then swipe ink pads across.

    I really love those tattered lace dies. Unfortunately I had to sell my die cutter for now. I'll get one again in the future, but for now, nothing to cut dies with. Thankfully still can cut svg files.
    This is a cute digi, would make a fun paper piecing.

    Cute card and beautiful lace trim!
    For die cuts, I really love Memory Box and Poppy Stamps! Those are my faves! Great quality and they cut so beautifully! I use florals and animals the most. Least, probably the holiday word dies since that's only a once a year occasion.

    Such a cute card. I use both cutting dues and embossing folders. Most of mine are from Spellbinders but I also some from Memory box and Cherry Lynn Designs.

    I love this card and how you used the lace and sequins to frame this adorable image. Am I right in assuming that this is more of the trim that came from Turkey?
    As far as the die companies, I use them all; I just need to play top figure out the sandwich I need. I started with Spellbinders then added the different companies that offered stamps and dies together & on and on. I'm all over the place on topics, too. Frames were my first love, then florals & greenery, accents, words, animals and more. I dip use embossing folders as well.

    I love your old lady stamp. She is adorable. I love that you use alot of lace. Where do you find all of your lace? I have Spellbinders dies and I mostly use frames but have recently been looking into words. I think die cut large words really add to certain cards. Dies I use the least would be actual objects but this might be because I don't own many and they aren't as versatile as random lines, circles, etc.

    I love dies from just about any company but most of mine are by Spellbinders, My Favorite Things and Paper Smooches. Frame dies are a favorite, as are animals, nature themes like trees and leaves. About the only type of dies I don't use are really girlie dies, religious themes, and sports. I also use embossing folders and actually finally gave in and bought my Big Shot so I can use them!

    So fabulous and you have an awesome collection of laces, I adore each one every year!
    Yes I love dies, I have so many brands and even now Indian brands too to play and fun with them! I love all type of dies whether they are frames, nature, cute animals, card creators, scene creators, I love to use them as dry embossing and making my own stencils too!!!

I probably have most Sizzix dies, cos I started with them but love Stamplorations, TE, Winnie and Walter, Cheery Lynn and many more LOL. Love animal dies, scenes, spooky and always looking for a bit different. Have too many flower dies. Love embossing folders. Have too many of those as well, but always on the look out for something a bit different and I love ones you can use as scenes. Hugz

    Great card! I am loving all this turkish lace you are showing off! And this image is awesome! Haven't see this one before! It is goign on my shopping list! Die cute? I love Taylored Expressions, Lawn Fawn, Gerda Steiner Designs - so many more. I love dies as long as they arent too big and bulky. Embossing Folders? Love them! Unfortunately, I do not have many now - I loaned most of mine toa friend who was starting into cardmaking - And she ran off and moved awa with them - I never got them back. Oh how I miss my embossing folders!

    Unusual image but I love the card.
    I'm mostly using Tattered Lace dies at the moment, though I do have some standard shapes from Spellbinders, some Kanban, Tonic, and others. I don't often get out my embossing folders these days. Hopefully I'll be able to do so in the future when I have a shuffle around of my crafting stash to get near them again.

    Haha, love your blue haired lady Holley! I love using dies and mostly use Sizzix, Spellbinders, My Favorite Things, and Lawn Fawn. I will pretty much use any manufacturer if I like the die shape. The dies that I don't use are word dies, because they're too hard for me to glue on, fancy dies like Tattered Lace (although I love Spellbinder fancy nested dies), and dies that have a lot of tiny pieces. I love embossing folders for fun texture.

    She's so cute. I love using dies. I like MFT, Lawn Fawn, Sizzix, Spellbinders and Stamps of Life. I have a hard time with more intricate dies because it's so "fun" to get adhesive/glue on them. I have a lot of embossing folders.

    I am constantly using embossing folders. I can probably say I am addicted to them. I don't have a favorite or least favorite die cutting company. I seem to have more nature related and Christmas dies than anything else.

    I don't really have a favorite die company because it depends on the design. I do love nested dies, nature themes, animals, food and plants and Christmas (especially trees and cute reindeers). I also love anything by Tim Holtz and My Favorite Things. I saw some Tim Holtz Crazy Birds and Cat sets that have stamps and dies, that would be so fun to use.
    The only theme I don't use are children's shapes, or sports because I make almost all of my cards for adults.
    Dies are a favorite tool because it makes card making so easy.

    Fun card - I have mostly Jaded Blossom dies and love them to bits! I mainly use the stitched rectangles and circles. Use my embossing folders when I remember!

    Super cute card and image. I dont have a favorite die company. I like alot of them. I have some dies and use them here and there. I like the dream catchers, feathers, butterflies, and the ones to make my own flowers the most. But I will use others. And I do use embossing folders on occasion.

    This is another cutie. I am not very brand loyal for dies. I like some of Tim Holtz dies, the interactive dies from Lawn Fawn and Taylored Expression. I have lots of Sizzix and Spellbinder, probably because they've been around the longest.
