OK, I am the candy monster. But, lately I have been doing really good at staying away from most all forms of candy. Most forms of concentrated sugar in fact. That's not easy for me. I do love me some sugar. Not having it is tough. I told the DH to skip the candy for Halloween (for me of course, not himself or the trick or treaters).
Hope you all are avoiding the candy monster!
Аll monsters are so cute.. :)

This card is just adorable! I haven't commented in a while, but I'm still looking at your blog every day by email. You have been doing great work this year! So inspiring.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you met your goals and will be going to Turkey again next year! That's awesome! I also wanted to tell you a bit about sugar and me. In January this year my doctor started me on a weight loss drug called phentermine. It works 2 ways. First it suppresses appetite, then it lets you realize when you are full. It has been pretty successful. I've lost about 75 pounds. Here's the kicker. I really don't crave or want sugar filled foods anymore. I had a small brownie with 1 scoop of ice cream last night, and it didn't even really taste good to me. I haven't had a piece of candy in months, and I don't even miss it. I can't even remember the last chocolate bar I ate. lol I guess my sugar addiction is broken. If I can do it, anyone can. <3
This is great!
