Here's a delightful image from Lili of the Valley, I just love this red dress with yellow flowers. I had to mimic the card to match her dress.  I hope you like her too. I can't believe we are almost to the end of July now.  Just a couple of weeks until school (well teachers and I) will be getting going again.  WOW.  It will be quite different as I will be going to the new campus for Doss Elementary School.

I hope all of you have a great day!  Flowers to you all!  Last week in Turkiye, what should I do? hmmm, I say throw out all my clothes and buy more lace to bring home!

Birds Singing

Here's a lovely image from Unity Stamps today. I also added a sentiment, "Just a little note for you." and some gorgeous Turkish Lace.  I can't wait to show you some of the new Turkish lace that I have now. I hope you love this cute little card.  The birds are singing for you today!

I can't believe we are at the end of July.  A little less than 2 weeks to the start up of school (for the staff). WOW.   I won't have much time at all when I get back until I need to be at the school for prep.  I guess I will be staying up SUPER late to get over that jet lag quickly.

Angel Kisses

Here's a stunning angel image from Sherri Baldy.  I just love that is comes with a sentiment, "Always believe something wonderful is about to happen."  I think esp during the time of Coronavirus, this was the perfect image to pick.  I added an additional sentiment, "Smiles all around." along with some gorgeous Turkish Lace.

Have a wonderful end to July.  Hug all and Angel kisses!  I can't believe that I have 9 days left,  after my trip got moved to July 1st, I changed my end date of the trip.

Summertime

Thought this cactus stamp was a cute summertime card. I added a sweet sentiment, "It's always summer somewhere"  in most cases, that would be South Texas, as we seem to have the lock on summer weather most of the year. It's like either summer then a short winter, then we are back to 90-100 degree weather before you know it.

Must say though, I really hate winter, lol!  Just 11 more days in Turkiye!!

I can't believe we are this far along in the summer time now. I am getting ready for the next school year.  Last year I changed jobs and went from one school to another.  At the time the new school was not too much further away, maybe double the walk, but not my school's permanent location is about 4 times the walk (of my 1st school).  WHEW, I will be getting some major excersize now and in the Texas summer heat, before I left for Turkiye, in JUNE, we had days measuring 107F, I hate to know what we are measuring in August.

Fairy Llama? what?

I thought since we were sharing Llamas, I would have another one today.  Here's a hilarious image of a wonderful llama with butterfly wings.  How cool is this?  It comes from Faery ink.  Check out their Etsy site for their images and they have a great Facebook site with some wonderful freebies.

I added some great lace from Turkiye to the base of this card along with some fun buttons that match the coloring on the llama wings.  I added a funny saying from Cat's Pajamas Stamps.  Hope it brought a little smile to your face today.

Cute Kitty

Here's a CAS card using a sweet Unity Cat stamp, the top layer is cut short, showing a beautiful embossed 2nd layer.  The background has butterflies which the cat is lying on it's back to get.  This wonderful stamp comes from one of my favorite artists at Unity stamps, Lisa Glanz.

Here's a quick and cute Llama card using a sweet set from The Cat's Pajamas stamps. I do so adore (and own) practically every set they sell lol!  Call me a stamp addict!  This set is just TOO cute.  I thought the sentiment was TOO funny.

I am also using some tiny but adorable Turkish lace to go with the card along with my other favorite embellishment of course, buttons!

Coffee anyone?

Here's a CAS card using a sweet and simple image as well. This was a freebie I was given but I don't have the giver's name on the image. If you know who made this image, please tell me so I can credit the artist.  I am using some stunning cardstock, it's shimmery and just gorgeous.

I also had to add a little Turkish Lace to the project to really pop at the bottom, it looks really good with the mica cardstock even though you can't tell that on this photo.  You can find this gorgeous card stock at Paper Temptress HERE.

Beach Lady

I adore this gorgeous image from Unity stamps.  I think the orange I used goes perfectly with these papers. I added a wonderful thoughtful sentiment, "remind yourself it is OKAY not to be PERFECT."  Isn't that the truth?  aren't we our own worst critics?  I know I can be.  I am typically way harder on myself that other people are.

Hope this sentiment makes you think today.  P.S. YOU are OKAY just the way you are.

Here's a little card to give you a laugh today. The cup image comes from Echo park and the sentiment is from Picket Fences.  It says, "I don't know what I would do without coffee but I'm guessing five to ten."  Bwaahhahaha.

Here's a darling image from Katzel Krafts the fat cats line.  I just love these stamps, I am pretty sure the same artist also made the recent cats for Tim Holtz (which you know I own).  They are just TOO cute. I added a fun sentiment, "You are the cats meow" plus some fun buttons and bling.

I mean, I know everyone feels like we got all this extra break since school didn't go back into session ("in person") but the amount of work behind the scenes to get everything running "online" was crazy.  it's like a lot of extra work and no benefits of getting to be with the kiddos everyday!
