and so the adventure begins!

So I know I am still a week from going, but I must confess that i have had a suitcase open and piling up with stuff for QUITE a while.  I basically take very little stuff for myself, but a number of gifts and things for people in Turkiye.  So I keep my suitcase open with things piling up in it to keep track of exactly how much space i have left.  Ummm, not much, not much.  In Turkiye, I do the same thing.  My friend can't believe for a two month trip that i don't unpack, but I tell her I need to keep a close eye on how much stuff I have bought and how much space I have open in my suitcase.  So I really don't much unpack it.  I keep it open in the corner and live out of the suitcase putting my purchases in as I get them.
