Love the daffodil design and pretty trim!
ReplyDeleteI use Memento most often, and I also love the Distress Oxide and Catherine Pooler inks. I just have a couple of VersaFine Clair pads and I like those a lot too.
Beautiful stained glass look for these daffodils and the sunny lace looks just amazing.
ReplyDeleteI love Memento too, but sometime find Versafine Clair better, especially on silhouettes. And I can't help but using Distress Inks especially to colour!
the card is very pretty, the lace magnificent. My favorite ink pads are Memento and Distress oxide. have a nice day Taty
ReplyDeleteHolley - I love your card and it gives me some inspiration for my Easter card as I have some die cut Easter eggs that I traded for, back in the yahoo group days! I also prefer alcohol inks for coloring. Most of my ink pads are Stampin up, and Memento black is my favorite black ink. Stazon ink for stamping on transparencies. Audrey R in Austin
ReplyDeleteMemento for coloring, absolutely! Powder Puff chalk inks from Quick Quotes for edging. This card is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteSuch a. Springy daffodil!! I use just about any ink. I do like distress Oxides though.
ReplyDeleteLove the gold embossing on black! I use versafine onyx black & clear embossing for nearly everything (and always for coloring with Copics)! And for ink blending, I use distress oxides or Catherine Pooler inks.
ReplyDeletePretty card, my favorite inks are memento black, distress & oxides.
ReplyDeleteI use Memento for colouring with copics and also use distress inks a lot too
ReplyDeleteThe daffodil stamp wold be beautiful on acetate and colored with markers to make a stained glass look. Or even glittered. I like the look on your card as well. Well gee, all my markers were lost in our last move from TX to CO, so I guess I won't be doing any stained glass look acetate images, lol. I have all different types of ink pads, some of mine are 20 years old and the pads have fraying on all edges. I used to always buy reinkers in the same color, so I haven't purchased any new ones in quite awhile. Probably time to go through them and throw many out! But . . . many different types, Memories, StampinUp, Versamark etc. I use whatever I have and buy whatever might be on sale. I am not fussy.
ReplyDeleteStunning, understated card! The the design in the “egg” and the lace is the perfect touch. Most of my inks, blender pens, and markers are StampinUp, but I also have Memento, Stazon and Versamark pads.
ReplyDeleteYellow lace is beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteMemento for black! I like stamp in up ink for solids and I use the distress one that changes when hit with water for backgrounds... Its not distress but the other one and my brain is not thinking!!!
Such a pretty card. I like all types of ink. They each seem to have their own purposes.
ReplyDeleteLovely card! I love the flower image. I use Catherine Pooler Ink, Distress Oxide, Versafine for sentiments and Memento for alcohol markers.
