Let the Sun Shine in!

Here's the cutest bunny girl from artist Sandra Caldwell of Babycakes Doodle This and That.  She's got some goodies in store for you this month!  They will happen on three different days this month and she's already posted a fun greeting and the most wonderful message about it (her plans for this month--and me too!!).  Practically made me smile and cry at the same time!!  See HERE!! What a wonderful artist.  I really do love her designs, I buy from her digi site and get stamps from Queen Kat who sells her designs in rubber format.

Later in the month, there will be three special days with goodies just from Sandra Caldwell!!  Read about that HERE!!  She's got FREEBIES coming for YOU!!!

Project Materials:  Cardstock (Bazzil, Neenah);  Digi-Stamp (Sandra Caldwell); Ink (Colorbox Chalk);  DieCut (Spellbinders Nestabilities);  Sentiment (Memento); Ribbon (Prima);  Adhesives (Pop dots, Glue All, Glue dots, Ribbon Glue); Color (Copic Markers);

Per a question yesterday--the die on yesterday's card was from Spellbinders

WINNERS---the list is begun!! (Note--if you see your name on the winner list, please email Holley your address Htondre@aol.com)  You are eligible to win more than once.  I anticipate several people will :)

FOR Today's COMMENTS--- game--Tell me your favorite paper to use for cards?  do you use paper or do you buy premade cards?   I guess personally I often just use paper, I am sure for those of you who look at my "project materials" list, you notice that my most common paper for card bases is Bazzill.

  6. My favorite paper to use for card bases is Bazzill smoothies ~ I like the sturdiness of it. I sometimes use premade card bases, too, especially if I'm using a white or cream base. Thanks so much for the chance to win!!

  9. Very cute card Holley! I love the bright colors although she looks a little sad, it is a happy card.

    I use Georgia-Pacific paper for my base. It is not the best one for the job but it is available at Walmart, doesn't cost an arm and a leg, and you can color with Copics on it.

    As for the card and printed paper, I use whatever I have. I have some I don't even know what the name is but if it is pretty, I buy it..LOL.

  10. What a darling image - great coloring job, too (as always)!
    As for paper, I use Wausau that I buy from Office Depot (or Max - I always get them confused). It's a pretty good weight for cards and it holds up well with my Gamsol and pencils.

  11. Beautiful card!
    I buy white cardstock for the card base and then some dp from different companies... Where I live is not easy to buy paper (there is only one paper shop) and to buy from abroad is too expensive because the shipping :)

  15. Love your card. When I am making cards I use a plain cardstock, either white or colored that I get in packages at Walmart or JoAnns. It holds up well and I can spend more on fancy papers and embellishments.

  25. I love Bazzill but I use a variety of papers for cards as long as it is quality cardstock! I sometimes use the pre-made packs for white/off-white for convenience and cost-savings and then use my scraps to build. Your card is cute as always! Have a great day!
