Bunni Hippo, Join our contest!

Don't forget we are having a contest using a great stamp from Sandra Caldwell called 2036 Bunni Hippo.  This stamp is one that you can get now for just $1.50.  Create any handmade project and enter the contest for an additional chance to win prizes.  The contest is on Feb 2nd.
There will be prizes given for overall favorites from Artist Sandra Caldwell and one chose by Holley Barnhart, then there will be individual prizes (die cutters) for each different image used!

Here's my card using this cute stamp

When you have completed your card(s), you can enter them HERE, if you don't have a blog, you can post it somewhere on the internet and email me the link or send me your image htondre@aol.com

Question of the afternoon: what is your current project? what are you making the most of lately?

for me, I am just making cards for everyday topics, though I am getting a few easter things done.  I am on several design teams that I make cards for, I don't have a particular project going right now.  Just cardmaking.  The next huge project undertaking I can think of will be Vacation Bible School.

  6. Super cute!! I just made a bunch of Valentine cards for a card drive I participate in every year. For the most part my crafting has been put on hold to deal with some family matters but I hope that after this card drive I can find some energy to keep the crafty vibes going.

  9. Great job on the Bunni Hippo card. Love your layout. I am working on making "insert cards." These are cards I make to write on when I sent out swaps. I make use of all my scraps and embellishments when I make them. I do a bunch at a time as I have the table covered with lots of "bits & pieces." I just finished making 14 cards using the technique "One Sheet Wonder, which utilizes one sheet of 12 x 12 pattern paper. Lots of fun.

  17. Cute card, love the lace! Currently planning my announcements for my upcoming move from sunny southwest Florida to Austin TX in a few months from now. So maybe a flamingo flying from the beach to a ?????? (unknown) with a Texas star on it. I'll figure it out.

  18. Super cute card!!! I havent been able to craft as much as I want to lately as Ive been dealing with Insurance adjusters and an unrealistic appraisor. My boyfriend was rear ended in my truck. Hes been in the hospital for emergency surgery and home for the last month recovering. I did get in my craft room a couple days ago and made a mixed media canvas for my DT. I make more mixed midea pieces on canvas, tags or cards and or cards and tags than anything else. I do wood burning as well. I like to get messy and use stencils and stamps in different ways.

  32. Oh, Holley, I miss VBS so much. Since getting laid off (and not in a nice way) from the church, I haven't been back to volunteer for VBS, even though I coordinated it for three years. As for crafting projects Ia m almost finished making 20 Get Well cards, using a Bugaboo image, for a card-making club I used to belong to before hubby got sick. I'm starting to make meetings again, starting with this week, getting out more, now that I have the time. I also am in the idea process for a canvas for an Arts Festival at the Veterans' Hospital. I'm allowed up to three projects, as long as they're using different media.

  33. That is one cute and sexy hippo. Kind of reminds me of Tater on the movie cars. He's such a cutie, too. At the moment, I'm playing around with oil pastels and finding new ways to use embossing folders.
