Here's another wonderful Dead Sea Toon stamp from Miss Rach Stamps. I added a great sentiment that I thought was just perfect for this month, "Don't let them tell you it can't be done." I can't even tell you how many doctors I saw before Dr. Aboumatar who said they would fix me, help me, stop my sickness....I think I might have even laughed when doctor's said it because so many tried and nothing ever happened. Dr. Aboumatar was of course very different because it was going to mean Brain Surgery, which was super scary, not because of brain surgery so much as the fact that about two thirds of the people who go for testing to see if they qualify for brain surgery don't qualify. When I realized that my first appointment with him was resulting in brain surgery testing, I immediately stood up, walked out of the exam room, got my husband to listen because my brain had checked out.
Once he said, "it's time." I was way more afraid of not qualifying for brain surgery than the surgery itself.

I tend towards warm colors like red/yellow/orange my least fav is probably purple

ReplyDeleteI really don't have specific fave colors, but I tend toward deep red and teals (not at the same time). Orange is not a fave, but I don't hate it either. Lol xxx
I look forward every February to hearing your story again. It just amazes me! Dr. A really is a miracle worker. Thank God for brilliant doctors right? I've known a few in my lifetime as well.

Colors...well, I don't use much brown unless it's distressing ink or coffee/tea dyed paper. I am a shabby/grungy/boho kinda girl, so muted jewel tones or pastels are great! Pink is my favorite, but any shade in the red family will do. I like bluish/purply shades and greens as well. Yellow is nice sometimes. I'm not as crazy about orange, and really don't use it hardly at all. Basically, if it's a color that would be in a spring flower garden I will love it! lol

Lovely card!! I am a lover of anything and everything blue :) All bright colors are in my fav list, dull colors are the least fav :)

Wow that llama is a real cutie, need to check those stamps out! I really like so many colors, turquoise and lilac especially drawing my eye recently. We have a somewhat similar story that affected our family 40 years ago, still loyal to, and thankful for the medical organization that could operate. God Bless you.

My favorite colors are aqua and yellow. Can't really think of a color I dislike!
Sweet card and wonderful sentiment! I like purple, but it seems to be the color I use the least. Green and neutrals are the colors I most use.

I really don’t have a least favorite color. I guess if we are talking about my least favorite color to wear it would be orange.
I am so thrilled that you did find the right doctor and got treatment!! So many like yourself hear the bad diagnosis and really just check out! So glad you kept pursuing different dr's!! As for the other stuff: Hate all Halloween stuff; Love pinks, purples, blues, and basically peacock colors. So gold, copper and silver which go so well with peacocks, right? Happy 10th year anniversary!! So happy to celebrate with you!

ReplyDeleteI Have never had a favorite color and because of this, my 5-year-old granddaughter hates that I am missing one so she "assigned" me a favorite color! My assigned favorite color is BLUE! HAHAHAHA! I do not have a favorite because like music to me, I like ALL colors! I think God gave us colors to beautify everything just a bit different. Have a blessed day!
