Friends make life Bear-able

Sharing this lovely Lili of the Valley image today with a sentiment I have, "Friends make life bear-able."  How sweet is that!  Thanks so much everyone for joining in  this month and playing with me.   I am trying to keep the winner list updated, if you see your name in BLUE print let me know, I probably either haven't marked you off or maybe I didn't get your email.  Either way, please double check with me to ensure I have  your info!

Question of the day, ???

What is your favorite card making size?

I tend to make square cards a lot, usually 6" or just a shade under so they will fit in my 6" envies.  Else I will do 4.25x5.5

You can check the current winner list HERE!
Currently no prizes for Feb 19th to the 26th contest, go back and comment there if you haven't yet!

  2. Darling card! Love the cute bear and the pretty embellishments!
    I make A2 cards the most, 4.25" x 5.5"
I am also liking the slimline format to fit in a business envelope, although I haven't made one in ages! Have to do that again and just ordered some of the envelopes to have on hand.

  7. This is a very cute bear. I love bears and dogs. Your card layout is awesome and the flower and butterfly embellishments are sweet.
I almost always make the 4.25 by 5.5 (A2) card size. Rarely I make smaller thank you notes but I buy envelopes in bulk so go with same size. Lately I have had fun with tags!

  10. Your card is adorable! Who doesn't love a cute little teddy bear? I make A2 cards the most, 4.25" x 5.5" unless I have a package of card blanks and envelopes I need to use. I want to create some unique cards this year using different shapes and templates. I've been watching Mary from Cards TV and I have a few templates that I want to try.

  11. Sweet adorable bear card :) I love to make A2 cards a lot, however I also go for custom sizes when I make fancy-fold and interactive card designs :) I measure everything manually and even create my own envelopes to fit the card once it is done.

  13. Hi Holley- friends and coffee are the perfect blend!!! Yay to friends! I mostly make A2, but I also buy the larger card/envelope sets from Michael’s and Joann’s as I have some larger die cuts that really need the larger card size.

  15. That little bear is just too cute! It's a really pretty card!

I actually make a variety of different cards, just not necessarily greeting cards. I enjoy making 4x6 postcards, ATCs, rolodex cards and tags for journals among others.

  17. Oh my... I love that bear and that card! I like A2 (4-1/4" x 5-1/2") for most "everyday" cards to keep in my stash and giveaway to groups but "special" cards where I have taken the time to colour a large image, I will generally make bigger (usually 5" x 7" at least).

  26. Holley, this is so adorable and I love that cute little bear! As for card sizes, I almost always make the A2 size that fits into standard card envelopes for mailing but I also make tall thin cards and an occasional square one.

  27. Your card is beautifully colored and so cute. The bear looks soft enough to cuddle. I usually make the 4.25 x 5 sized card for easy mailing but have made some of the larger 5 x 7 size in the past. I almost never make shaped cards and never do fancy folds because I am terrible at it. I make a lot of birthday and sympathy cards and they always have to be mailed so I stick with standard card sizes.
