Here's a wonderful card using a stamp from Stamping Bella's Oddballs line. I just LOVE this stamp set. I think I have gotten almost all the stamps in this darling set. They are just TOO cute. I can't resist them. I have added some great Turkish embroidered ribbon to it as well. Well, today is my first day at my new school location. I am sure many regular followers have heard me talking about looking diligently for a new school to work at. I got notice two weeks ago and I start at my new school today. Wish me luck!

sentiments I do not use often because my buyers from the cards want to have clear cards so they can put there own text in.

What a fun card! I love the rich red and gorgeous lace. I use a lot of sentiment stamps, usually on the card front but I so stamp them on the inside. For special cards I will embellish the inside of the card too.

ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new job! Your card is darling. I don't use alpha stamps very often. I have many and use sentiments on almost every card. I usually don't stamp the inside but I have been thinking of stamping the inside on the cards I make this year. I have a few stamps appropriate for the inside and I can always create a Word document and print them off and adhere them inside.

I use alphabet stamps rarely though I bought them thinking I'll use. However I do use sentiment stamps on the front of my cards. For the inside, I usually write my own message or google a good one and write it down. I get appreciated for my handwriting too, so I love the handmade touch :)

Sometimes I use feelings stamps in general. But inside the cards I prefer to leave it blank so that people or myself can write.

ReplyDeleteI don't have any of the Oddballs yet, but I have a few that I am head-over-heels about.... the snowman, Easter bunny and many of the Halloween ones! Such fun designs! Love your card and the image and sentiment! Beautiful lace too!
ReplyDeleteI don't tend to use alphas, but I love sentiment stamps. Wish I had more that were appropriate for the inside of my cards. I have many that I use on the card fronts, like Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas, etc... the basics. But I do often with I had more choices for the inside.

This is another adorable card and that turkish ribbon is impressive! I don't use alphabet stamps much at all, although I have quite a few sets. When I first began stamping in earnest, I bought about 5 different alphabet sets to use on scrapbook layouts but these days I stick to sentiments. I prefer humorous or unique sentiments, but I don't stamp inside my cards. I usually handwrite my greetings inside the card.

I have alphabets and I do like to stamp on the inside of the card when I am getting ready to send it. I love sentiments that are inspiring, funny and sweet. Sometimes I buy stamps for the sentiment!

I use sentiments on my cards, but just the regular ones like happy birthday things.
I never stamped a quote or a sentiment on the inside, just on the outside.
And sometimes I use my alphabet/scrabble tile stamps

ReplyDeleteI seldom use alpha stamps, but used them several times in past 2 months! I love sentiment stamps, another great feature of Unity stamps. I do stamp inside of most cards, both sentiments and images, also sometimes on envelopes. Today's card is a cutie! :)

ReplyDeleteI love using a sentiment stamp inside my cards if I can find one that fits the occasion. I also use have been using my alphabet stamps more lately, my Grandchildren names, for example. It’s always scary to stamp inside a card after working so hard on the outside so I will often stamp on a separate sheet and attach it to the card.
