Sweet

I do so love little girl stamps but haven't shown a lot of them this month.  Here's a real cutie from Lili of the Valley.  I thought this one would be perfect for the LOVE month of February.  Isn't she just SWEET?  I had to color her up in yellow with little red polka dots.  I also added some great Turkish lace.

Question of the day?

what's your favorite stamp types? wood? rubber? clear? only digi?  like making things but not using stamps?

I would say I am about 50-50 between real stamps and digi stamps.

Did you sign up on Feb 1st?  Prizes are drawn from Feb 1st all month, so be sure and leave a comment there (click here)!!  No Prizes have yet been drawn for Feb 3- Feb 9, be sure and sign up for those prizes as well! See the master prize winner list HERE!

  2. What an adorable little girl in her polka dots! My favorite types of stamp are clear or cling rubber. I started out with wood mounted, but I can't tell where I'm stamping with them, and they take up so much room. I don't use digi stamps, as my printer bit the dust years ago.

  8. Holley - she is so cute!! Reminds me of a stamp that I have from TAC. They went out of business a long time ago, but I had 1 friend from Dallas who was a demonstrator. I love all stamps, but clear and backless take a lot less room to store! I love stamps with matching die cutters!

  9. That is an adorable image. My daughter used to dress up in her father's work boots and sweatshirts adorned with lots of necklaces!!! I have clear stamps and digis with very few wood backed stamps. I have thousands of digi images so I'm sure I use them more.

  10. I love this card - my granddaughter could have been the model for this! She loves to dress up. 😍 I use a mix of clear and wood - choosing because of the image - but mostly clear mount because of the ease of storage. Stamps with coordinating dies/punches are my favorite.

  12. Cute card!!! I love using clear and unmounted wood rubber stamps in my Misti. I also use them on clear blocks. I unmounted all of my wood stamps for easier storage. I also use and love digis but I need to find a better way to organize them on my computer.

  13. Oh, Holley, your little girl is so adorable!! Love how you colored her up with her polkadot dress. Very sweet card...love the hearts and lace!
My favorite stamps are clear acrylics and then cling rubber. I esp like ones that have coordinating stencils and/or dies. I don't use digis....my printer and I are rarely on speaking terms! I also make many cards without any stamping at all...using die cuts and other embellishments on patterned paper.
Hard to believe we are well into the second week of February already! Wheeeeee!!!!

  14. She is a cutie, this card is loaded with cheer! I love red rubber and clear, my stash has lots of each. My first stamps are wood mounted but I rarely buy them anymore and space wise, that's a good thing. :)

  16. A very sweet card and image. I prefer clear stamps to see what/where I am stamping. But I do own a lot of red rubber (Unity) as well as older wood block stamps and use them all.

  22. Oooooh, I love me some LOTV stams. I still have some rubber ones from back where they were still selling those.
You coloured the image beautifully and you chose great colours, they go really well together. :)
I use mostly clear and rubber stamps nowadays. Most of the time I will fuzzy cut my images so it doesn't matter if they are wood mounted or not. I do not use digi stamps.

  26. Isn't she just super adorable. Love her oversize shoes and hat. I like both rubber and clear. Clear works so much better now that I own a stamp press. Wood mount stamps are OK but so hard to store.

  30. Such an adorable card!

I like both rubber and clear stamps. I have a few digi stamps, and I have to say I'm not crazy about them. I have a hard time watercoloring them because the ink smears.

  31. Awe she is adorable. Love the lace too. A perfect match. I use rubber and clear stamps mostly and will use wood. I don't use digital Stamps. I make all kinds of things including cards and other paper crafts. As well as other things like mixed media, gnome houses, horse wreaths, gnomes, deco bottles.. Anything really. Oh and I love using stencils too.

  34. I just want to give that little cutie a hug! Love the bright and happy colors too. My favorite type of stamps are clear ones, so I can see what I'm doing. Then next are cling rubber. They always give excellent results. I don't use digi stamps very often because I'm not very good at coloring.

  36. This little girl playing dress up is so cute and I love her polka dots. I like to use every type of stamp except for digi, because I don't have a printer. I started out with wood mounted and like their ease of use but clear are easier to place on a card.
