Thouht I would start off the second day of the celebration with this cute card. The image is from LOTV. I just love their stamps, esp this little dog. It says, "You make me happy" I added some great turkish lace in brown.

As I have in past years, I will ask questions of the day, I do this because I really do read all your answers and get to know you! I use that info to chose what goodies I send (and believe it or not, sometimes even what I buy in anticipation of the celebration! If I know I have lots of people who love butterfly die cuts, I buy some to give away for example).

I like LOTV images too. I still have some of their rubber stamps I bought back when they were still doing those. I think your card is very cute.

ReplyDeleteI have a spellbinder platinum 6 and a prizm. I've been using dies more often and I'm trying to figure out how to rearrange my craft area so I can leave the platinum out. I love the dog image on your card!

ReplyDeleteYes, I do have a die cut machine and use it for virtually every card I make except for OLCs. I love stamping, too, but it is common for my cards to have mainly die cuts and only a simple stamped sentiment or no stamping at all.

Such a cute card! I actually own 4 manual die machines and I use all of them for different purposes. I have and use many dies.

ReplyDeleteI do have die cut machines. I've had a Cuttlebug for years, and apparently they have stopped making them now. I wish I had gotten a spare 'c' plate. I also have 2 Cricut machines. One is pretty old, and the other is a bit newer. This year I also aquired a Sizzix Side Kick that I keep in my workspace all the time. I love it! It's small, and only cuts 2.5 inch wide by 3 inch dies, but it's so handy! I'm starting to save up for a new sizzix cutter. I haven't decided which one yet. I use dies and diecuts pretty often. I try to crank through a few extra of my favorites when I'm cutting to have on hand.

ReplyDeleteSuper cute stamp Holley. You know me, I love dog images. I own a scan n cut and a cricut. I got rid of my Big Shot, it was just too hard to roll, maybe I wasn't using my plates correctly. It's a bummer because I really did like the look of the embossing folders. I ended up getting rid of all my dies, except the ones I designed with Sherri. Not sure why I kept them, other than felt kind of proud that I could do it. lol
