Coffee Time

Here's another cutie from Stamping Bella in RED.  I also had to use some great Turkish Lace and wonderful tiny polka dot buttons to go with her.  Like me, she looks like she is just waking up.  Funny thing, I will be in Turkiye, drink a Turkish coffee then promptly goto bed.  Always shocks my hostess.  She's like WHAT?  (For those of you who haven't had Turkish coffee before think a small espresso with a huge wallop of caffeine).   Don't forget about our coffee contest over on the YSBP Challenge blog HERE

    I love the black lace with this image and the buttons are so cute. I have some digital background stamps that are fun to use.

    What a stylish card! The image is great and the lace goes beautifully. I have used background stamps and have several, but often make my own backgrounds using smaller stamps.

    I love this card! Red and black are so striking together. I have quite a few background stamps but rarely use them. Designer paper seemed to take the place of the background stamps.

    Cute card!!! I do love background stamps, joined the Unity background membership when they launched it, and since backgrounds are so versatile, seems hard to resist further expanding the collection.

    What a cute card, love those polka dotted buttons and the lace! I love using background stamps, especially now that I have a stamping platform. I used to have trouble getting a good image but not anymore. The one type of background stamp that I don't often use are small florals, as I prefer backgrounds with a textured or neutral look.

    Wow, you can really go strainght to bed after drinking turkish coffee? I can't do it.
    Great card. Red and black go together so well.
    I I use lots of patterned paper on my cards so I don't use background stamps often.

    Your cards are always beautiful and I really like the bold colors in this one. I don't usually use background stamps because I use patterned paper most of the time.

    I have this stamp too! I LOVE her! Great card! I don't use background stamps, I would prefer to do ink blending or stenciling

    Good morning, Holley! Wowzers, now that is a boost of caffeine! No wonder your hostess is shocked that you go to bed after drinking your Turkish coffee! I think I would be up all night!     You have so many cute coffee card ideas, Holley! No, I don’t use background stamps. I prefer scrapbook papers and embossing folders to use for card backgrounds. With background stamps, you are limited to one color. I have several and used to use them a lot.

    Wow, I can barely drink coffee after noon so drinking it before bedtime would guarantee a sleepless night for sure. I do use a few background stamps but don't usually use them since I use a lot of solid card stock and patterned paper.

    Caffeine at bedtime has never bothered my sleep either. The card is beautiful & her long legs are lovely, but how does she smell or drink her coffee, lol? I love huge background stamps!!!!
