Kindred Spirit

Here's an adorable image from Stamping Bella. I just love this stamp line, the Oddballs, from that store.  They are just TOO cute and quirky.  I also added a little fun lace to go with it.  I can't believe we are almost to the half-way point of this month!  WOW, it sure does go quickly doesn't it?

QUESTION OF THE DAY:  what is your least favorite holiday for making cards?  or what is a holiday that you don't stamp for at all?

I don't do much stamping for 4th July, Easter, or new year's

If you have not answered the question of the day for the past couple of days be sure and go back to answer them, winners have not been chosen yet. If you have not left a comment on February 1st be sure and answer the question on February 1st as winners will be chosen from February 1st every day of the month.

  1. This image made me shime. Great card! :D
I don't make cards for Halloween, 4th of July or Thanksgiving, because we don't celebrate those holidays here.

  2. I don't really like making a lot of Halloween cards because I like to make more funny cards. For Halloween I don't have funny stamps and these cards come out gloomy.. I love bright colors in cards.. I would like funny halloween stamps, different sets of them to have a chance to mix and add&change something new.. and maybe then my opinion will change..

  3. ah, what a beautiful girl with thin legs.. I love this kind of stamps.. Oh, I realized - this is a digital stamp.. Unfortunately - I can't use them.. But the idea is great..
I don't like - just postcards without reference to any event .. Sometimes my friends ask me to make just a postcard for them, just like that .. Then I don't understand - what should be on it ??? It's a torment - to find the right color and picture then.. What mood the postcard will have then - surprises for everyone, and for me too.. :)

  4. I mean to do more cards for holidays. Easter and Christmas, Valentines and Thanksgiving, are all ones that I love to make cards for, and sometimes new years. I do sometimes also for st. Patty's, and I sometimes do 4th of July, have 2 special ladies with 7/3 birthdays...

  6. I almost never make cards for St. Patrick's Day, July 4th, and only make a few for Halloween and Easter. I have stamps for most holidays but it seems like I never have cards made in time to actually send them!

  7. Cute card, Holley! As I thought about your question, I realized that I don't make cards for most holidays. I make cards for Christmas, Valentine's, birthday, anniversary, thank you, thinking of you, sympathy, or just to lift someone's spirits. Thank you For the great question!

  8. The oddballs are such fun stamps aren't they. Love your card and that cute lace again. Definitely not 4th July or Thanksgiving so much cos they aren't ones we celebrate, and not much easter or New Years cards cos they aren't usual to give here. Hugz

  12. Adorable card - perfect for a friend or Thinking of You message! I don’t send many New Year cards, but do send for all of the other holidays. St.Patrick’s Day are hard to find, so I have to get creative and keep reusing the one set I have.

  13. Love that girl! So cute! I don't think I've ever made a card for 4th of July. Though I have some digis for it. I have 3 little great nieces now (my other great nieces and nephew are practically grown up) so I have reasons to send cards for all occasions. You've been asking pretty thought provoking questions.

  14. I love the Oddball images, too! I only have one for Halloween ... and I haven't even used it yet!! That's my goal this year, tho, to use the stamps I haven't yet. I think I make cards for all the holidays ... just some of them not too many, like New Year's, St. Patrick's Day and 4th of July.

  31. I am so impressed that you have a new card every day Holley. I always have good intentions and then time flies by and I' haven't done much. I don't often make cards for holidays like halloween or St. Pat's day or Valentine's day and prefer general themes or birthday cards.
