Fairy Girl

Happy Sunday.  wow, this month is going by quickly, isn't it?  I can't believe we are nearing the 1/2 way point already.  You guys should see my kiddos, they are so darn cute.  Little two year olds. I am going to work to help them to make some valentines this week.

Question of the day:  did you do some handmade valentines this year?

Me?  I will do a couple in the class with my 2 yr olds and maybe one for the DH but not more than that.

Check out my wonderful Etsy store.   I sell precut lace in wonderful packs so you get 20 or 40 pieces all different in a wide array of colors, beautiful embellishments, or Lace Menagerie which is 6 yard assortments!  You can find the store here: https://laceplacebyholley.etsy.com

  4. I make 18 cards that I send out on every major holiday. I started years ago by sending to aunts and grandparents but many have passed away, so now it’s nieces, nephews, siblings and friends who have moved away. Holidays, birthdays and thank you’s are most of my stamping. Post a photo of the students cards, please! Audrey R in Austin

  10. Such cute fairy (I think she is a Lily Of The Valley one) and love the daisies added! Beautiful card, so cheerful.
I made only two or three handmade Valentine.
Teaching craft to two years old kids must be so difficult! But surely the kids at that age are just adorable whatever they do:)

  12. Pink and yellow combo is great. Who knew? Yellow is such a hard color for me to use. I have not made any Valentines yet. Must get some energy to at least make on for my husband. I've been sick for 2 weeks, but getting back my energy now and will catch up here first!

  20. DARLING CARD and I love these colors! I bought adorable stuff to make valentines for my co-workers, and didn't...just passed out Valentine cholocates and called it good, I definitely made a better effort last year. This year I also bought $$$ of adorable swanky paperclips on ETSY and handed them out, everyone on that gift list got some with heart and some with stones, it was a big hit. Yes, I lament that they were NOT attached to homemade Valentines as originally envisioned. Next Year! Valentines is one of my favorite holidays LOVE the heart motif, the Mailbox, the Envelope.... sigh!
