This stamp comes from Queen Kat stamps artist Kelly Ann. She's the cutest little caterpillar who can already see inside her beautiful self. She knows she is going to grow into a wonderful butterfly. Don't you wish we could all see inside ourselves like this? I know we all have a friend, family member, co-worker...and we wish we could tell them that we never see the caterpillar that we only see the beautiful butterfly that they are.Be sure that you have signed up for the new blog candy!! It started on Monday, Feb 14th!! (Click here to sign up); Oh...if you played yesterday's game--you DEFINITELY want to go back to the comment column there as I announced the winner(S).
Project Materials: Cardstock (Bazzill, K&Co, Neenah); Rubber Stamps (Queen Kat); Ink (Memento); Flowers (Prima); Brads (Making Memories); Pearls (Queen&Co.); Adhesives (Pop dots, Glue All, Glue dots); Border Punch (Martha Stewart); Color (Copic Markers);

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, Holley, that card really brought tears to my eyes. It is so beautiful and such a true message. I have to show my kids too because at home we are watching caterpillars (in a little mesh basket) that are going to turn into butterflies soon. They will love this.
ReplyDeleteThis is so awesome card. I do love butterflies a lot. And your card kind of open my mind to think what was first.

Thank you for liking my Teddy Bear. (smiles)
This is sooo cute Holley! i wish I had had that mindset as a teenager :) I work with teens a lot and I have 3 of my own and I try to make them realize that they are just caterpillars waiting to be beautiful on the outside but it is so much more important to be beautiful on the inside :)
ReplyDeleteI love this card! That's such an awesome stamp.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I love this stamp... so cool and your colouring is lovely!

Oh I so wish my son could see his butterfly, he has cerebral palsy which causes him mobility problems but is lucky it doesn't affect him in other ways. He gets very down when he can't do and access things his friends do and often gets very depressed and frustrated with himself and those around him who still haven't natured enough not to be bullies, 16 is a horrible transitional age and I so feel for him . Love your card wouldn't life be wonderful if we could do this.thanks for sharing Julye
ReplyDeletewhat a great image and your coloring is superb.
