Happy Monday everyone! It's the last Monday of the celebration month and it's time for the Squigglefly challenge of the week. This week it's my team, the Holley Hobbyists who are heading up the challenge, it's called "I give thee a recipe." The recipe this week is to include Twill, printed paper (at least a piece) and at least one button/brad/eyelet. As you can see on my card, I chose to use printed paper as my background, I am using black and white twill on the red cardstock and I added three buttons. This fun image is Shih Tsu from artist Enid Barnes. I am also using a sentiment from the Squigglefly stamp set Just Flyin By.
Drop by the Squigglefly Challenge blog and join in the fun if you want to play along with us. You can even get a FREE image from Squigglefly HERE.
Which artist at Squigglefly (click here) is your favorite? For me, I think there are Hilarious one from Mike Eustis (i.e. Roboboots and StudMuffin), Cheryl Alger makes the most darling girls, and Fawn Palmer as I love her sexy fun images and most especially the adorable sayings that she always adds to them!!
Be sure and check the current winner's list (CLICK HERE) and see if your name is on it...if you name is in Black Bold print, then I haven't gotten your address or email, so please drop me a line at htondre@aol.com. If you are new to the blog, we are having a wonderful celebration this month, blog candy everyday, be sure and go sign up, esp on Feb 1st as the grand prizes will get picked from that location (click here) then you can go back through previous days (last week) and leave a comment on each day for your chance to win.

Love the card. I recently lost my Chihuahua in December. I am now considering getting a puppy who is Chi/Shih Tzu mix. I have been waiting for a sign that is the right thing.....maybe this is it.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, love the black/white/red mix.
Hugs,

Such a touching image. Such a cute dog. Faye
ReplyDeletePam lehto's cupcake is soooooo cute. But all the artists are talented. Audrey r in austin
ReplyDeleteEverything you make comes out perfect! Looking at all the images took a long time, I skimmed through most. I liked both Dianna Garrison & Lynne Stansbery (especially the witch). I have to say that most of the images I saw, maybe 80%, were too cute for me. I seldom comment due to arthritis in fingers, but I do read your posts & the comments. I enjoy others opinions and the things they notice too. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous card and image xx Jan
