How about a Sweet Pea Stamps question today? Have you seen all the artists that this store has been adding?!? WOW, they just signed The East Wind, Sandra Caldwell, Amanda Byron (Faery Ink), Lemon Shortbread! So many well known artists. They also have a whole line of artists that you already know and love: Ching Chou Kiuk, Mitzi Sato-Wiuff, Teresa Sherman, Norma Burnell, Karen Middleton....So WHICH of these artists are your favorite? here's the site link, there's some artists available only as rubber stamps. Do you tend to use more rubber or more digi?
so many artists first look Norma Burnell is one I like.
ReplyDeleteI do like the snow angel you used on this card.

I feel a little uncomfortable about declaring a favorite artist from a line up. Hate to leave anyone out. I do use digis - they are very handy for my pop up cards, but I love using physical stamps- clear rather than red rubber though because I can see what I am doing better than with the rubber. I love the physical stamps because I do a lot of heat embossing.
ReplyDeleteYour card is beautiful today! Love the trim!
ReplyDeleteI really like the collage stamps, particularly the ones with the Eiffel tower! Just delicious! I use rubber a lot more than digi, but I do use digi sometimes. lol
Amanda Byron and Karen Middleton are my favorite artist. Their images are so beautiful. I hope your snow angel will look after you as long as it needed.

gorgeous image and a fab card Holley great text.
ReplyDeleteGr Karin
Gorgeous card Holley!!! Perfect for the occasion!!! And for the question...I´m more of a rubber stamp crafter but I like to use digis too. And my favorite artist must be Mitzi Sato-Wiuff!!! Love those images!!! Hugs, Laila
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card! I love to play with rubber/clear stamps but sometimes play with digs too. I am growing my stash slowly, more in my wish list!
ReplyDeleteWow! So much awesome talent. It's really hard to choose just one, but I believe I'm partial to love and kids so I would have to go with Conie Fong's First Kiss. Absolutely love it! She has a lot of stamps I would put to good use! I like both digital and rubber, it just depends on what I'm using it for.
ReplyDeleteA super card, love how you've coloured the image. I rarely use digi stamps now - I prefer stamping images xx
ReplyDeleteLovely card Holley, - I tend to use rubber rather than digital
ReplyDeleteGorgeous image and such a beautiful card.
ReplyDeleteHugs

My fave artists are Elisabeth Bell, Conie Fong, Heather Valentin, Valarie Wade.
ReplyDeleteI love to use the rubber stamps because I have not a printer to use the digi stamps. I love artists as like Concetta Kilmer, Lemon Shortbread.
ReplyDeleteNice coloring job on the Snow Angel. I like the Paris Plate #6 and Simply Verticals from Sweet Pea. Also like Sandra Caldwell images. The Seahorse and Halloween images from Teresa Sherman are nice too. I use both rubber stamps and digitals, more rubber stamps, though.
ReplyDeleteVirginia Montagna
lovely card, Holley. The coloring is amazing.
ReplyDeleteI love rubberstamping, but lately I use more digis.
The digy by conie fong are super cute. :)
Beautiful card, love the image. Chris xx
ReplyDeleteAngels are my absolute favorite, I love both of the pictures yours and the artist. It is so much fun looking at how others create using the same stamp. I love the new artists on Sweetpea and so many others too. My favorite is Amanda Byron's Rock My World and Concetta Kilmer's So In Love Hooty and her Mother's Love Under Her Wings. So many to choose from all are very talented that's for sure very artistic minds flowing there.
ReplyDeleteWow just stunning Holley. X
ReplyDeleteWOW WOW WOW GORGEOUS AND STUNNING, XXXX
ReplyDeleteWow what a talented group of artists! I love sweet Asian designs so I think Conie Fong would probably be my favorite! I actually have never used digi stamps!
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful Holley. I love how you have colored her, added detail and made it such a personal creation.

Beautiful card. Great Image Coloring.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Rosalee
OOh, love the coloring on this...especially the sky! I also love the Owl images by Norma Burnell with Sweet Pea stamps. I haven't gotten the hang of coloring faces quite yet so try to stick to animal image. I always prefer rubber over digital since I don't have a printer at present!
ReplyDeleteLovely card. If I had to pick a favorite. I think it would be Karen Middleton.
DeleteHugs,
Sandy
Hi Holley this is a gorgeous card. I tend to use rubber stamps over digi stamps it is just my preference. Hugs Jackie
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful card, a gorgeous image, and I love the meaning behind the card. You have been truly blessed!
ReplyDeleteYou asked about my favourite artist over at Sweet Pea Stamps - I won't pick a favourite because I really love any of the images that feature cats, so I know there are a few! As for rubber/clear stamps vs. digital stamps, it seems most of the time I use digis but that's because I'm on a DT and I also play in progressive challenges. I love traditional stamping too! It's probably 80% digi and 20% stamping for me. Congratulations to all the lucky winners! And thank you for becoming a follower of my blog!
A lovely image and a perfect sentiment to go with it. Great card.
ReplyDeleteLove seeing this style but just don' t have time for all the coloring. I love looking at your stuff.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful image and colouring!! Super design - fabulous card.
ReplyDeleteI don't use digis much at all as I really love the thrill of seeing the stamped image and love to see them embossed.
xx
I haven't seen all the artist yet but I do love Mitzi I have loved her stuff for a long time
ReplyDeleteLOVE love love.xxxx
ReplyDeleteInsanely beautiful card.Really beautiful coloring. My my daughter took his first tattoo 18-year birthday in honor of. Text was blessed.
ReplyDeleteCan I list a bunch that I think are really talented? Concetta kilmer, Elaine Cox, Elisabeth Bell, lisa victoria, Katerina K, Karen Middleton, Valarie Wade, and Amanda B has some cute stuff. The others are talented too, I just love the cutesy images best.
ReplyDeleteI use digis and rubbers both equally I think.
Pretty card!!! I especially like the I am blessed word art. I'm mainly a scrapbooker so I use far more rubber stamps than digis.
ReplyDeleteLovely image , love her hair and the sentiment. It seemed lots changed in the stamp and digi world with the new eu vat legislation. Some wonderful companies gone, others amalgamated etc, great to see done companies grow and scant their repertoire.
ReplyDeleteDarn auto correct .... Great to see some companies grow and expand their repertoire.
DeleteWonderful card using a beautiful image. I like using digi stamps most of the time better than actual stamps because I can change the size. It's pretty hard to pick a favorite artist from that list. I love Norma Burnell and many others.
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous card Holley and a wonderful image. I do like the way you've coloured her with the softer tones.
ReplyDeleteYou probably know my favourite Sweet Pea artist, Norma J Burnell. But I also like Meredith Dillman and Joanne Schempp. Plus the cute Conie Fong images and Concetta Kilmer. I only found the gorgeous Lemon Shortbread stamps the other day. You really shouldn't ask me to choose a favourite! I don't mind digis or rubber stamps although the advantage of digis is being able to change the size x
Very neat card today. Love everything about it... Now to choose. That for me is impossible... there is so many beautiful, amazing images and wow... Look at the talent and details. Sorry but I cant just choose one.. They are amazing.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful. The image is perfect for your page.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many fabulous artists at Sweet Pea. I tend to be drawn to Ching Chou Kiuk. I just love her images.
Another new artist just signed on is Lynne Stansbery. She and Sandra C are two of my fave artists!!

ReplyDeleteRubber Stamps ;)
I love them all but I'd have to say the rubber stamps by Rebecca Sinz.
ReplyDeleteRubber is my choice, a I love the actual stamping of the image. I have 3 favorites, can never settle for just one. I adore mermaids - so have narrowed them down to Elaine Cox, Norma Burnell & Rebecca Sinz.

Hi Holley, I really like this card, the words are something we all should say daily. I honestly find it very difficult to choose only 1 of the many talented artists under the Sweet Pea banner. Re my preference, I would say it is 50/50 for digis and clear stamps.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Trish
Love this one!!! The colors are really cool.
ReplyDeleteI am new to Sweet Pea stamps but I love the images by Connie Fong, especially the cute penguins and bears!

ReplyDeletebeautiful creation Holley... awesome!! I use rubber & clear stamps... I dont use digis much as I dont have a printer at home...
ReplyDeleteHi Holley, great card. I am a rubber stamper. I have tried digi's a few times but I just don't see it as so creative as using a real stamp. So many great artists at Sweet Pea, I like Karen Middleton, but must go and look at the new ones. Hugz
ReplyDeleteHi Holley - I have not used digi, yet. My favorite artist is Connie Fong. I like her cutsie stamps.

ReplyDeleteConcetta Kilmer is so cute! I also like Amanda S Byron, and a select few images of the others. I am really bad at coloring images still. So some of the more intricate ones are not for me yet
