Make us Laugh

So the people over at Ike's Art are having a challenge called Make Us Laugh, I took this sexy image and added this funny saying from Riley &Co.  "1 day of coal. 364 days of fun. (I'll take my chances)"  HA!!  That's awesome.  I just love the look on this lady's face. That's totally something I can imagine her saying too.
Now, that's a little Sassiness that I love.  I also love the Halloween/goth type images that you see over at Ike's art too.  So many great stamps (also if you love birds, dogs,....there's lots like that as well).

So, hmm, question for the day? are you getting ready for any special events that you are crafting for?  my sister in law is having a baby.  I have a couple birthdays in April/may.  I do love to make a few cards for Easter time, but I am definitely running behind on that!  How about  you?  weddings? already making Christmas cards? what's your current topics?

    What a sexy image and I love it!!! What you did with it I love too. I am also waiting on a new baby. My grandson will be here any day now (actually thought Valentine's Day but my daughter said the baby thinks it is too cold here and won't be born till spring..LOL). I am more sewing than doing any kind of paper craft though. I was going to make a quilt for him but have so much to do before hand I may just have to make the quilt later.

    Love the teal color and the die cut you used at the top of the card. I am workig on Easter cards and always on birthday cards for the rest of the year. Just learned how to do a "Flap Fold" card technique---super easy.

    Your card is so neat. Lol. Made me laugh. The sentiment is perfect. Right now, I'm not doing any special events. My main focus is learning new things and I think I'm going to start entering some challenges to get my blog rolling more. That's what's in the plans anyway.

    Amazing shading! Just finished my Valentine Cards and will start working on my Easter cards. I have a sister-in-law with a St. Patrick's Day birthday, so need to make a "combo" card.

    Love this card and sentiment! The image is perfect! I am getting ready for a very big event. ..Grand baby #7 is due on St Patrick's Day, March 17th! My daughter and son in law will officially get out of the parents in training status and become 'real' parents when their second son is born!

    WOW!!! Amazing coloring coloring of her skin tones. The only thing I should be working on is Mother's day. But I do have a project idea for a co-worker who is having a baby this summer.... guess I'd better get going there too.

    Wow, love this image and the card! No special events coming up, one local art contest. Feedback: The contest blog was great, but I wanted to view more of this artists images so I visited the actual website and everything was so tiny I could not read or see the images. Using IE and it will not let me enlarge the pages so I will try again with firefox when I have time to download the flash player required.

    Holley, that card ROCKS! I love Ike's Art. I think my crafting goal is to own ALL her images. LOL
    I just got word my DIL wants to host a gender reveal party...at my house! She's letting me have free rein on the invites, and I am sharing the rest (favors, thank you cards, etc.) with her mom, who also crafts. (My son married well, as my DIL crafts too)

    Love the images at Ike's Art, and I really love how you did this one in teals. I'm currently working on making some new art for my bedroom since I just bought a new bedspread.
