Here's a delightful image from Conie Fong, she's called Feeling Fabulous. She's just opened her brand new Etsy store to sell her beautiful collection of stamps, Conie Fong Art and Design. She also has a great group on Facebook that you can hang out in and join in great challenges using her wonderful stamps, Conie Fong Art & Design; Her facebook group currently has details on applying to her design team!
So what do you think of this orange and pink combination? not two colors you would normally put together huh? I think they turned out pretty nice. The die cut shown here comes from Tattered Lace.
do you prefer red rubber stamps, cling mounted or clear stamps?

Beautiful card Holley. I actually like the orange and pink together. Not a choice I would normally see. But it really works well together. The diecut is so pretty too.
ReplyDeleteLove the beautiful coloring in this sweet image! This is a great color combo, but i never used. I mostly use clear stamps, easy to use and red rubber stamps too!
ReplyDeletegorgeous image and card Holley
ReplyDeletethe combination of those papers goes well I think because it are soft colours,
Gr Karin
Hi holley, I looove your card. I think that the colors you used look really good together.
ReplyDeleteI looove clear stamps, I actually can't imagine my crafting life without them, it's just awesome that you know excatcly where you will stamp :D
I LOVE those colour combinations, and your right, they are not two colours that go together very often....I am not very good at putting "too much" on a card...they always seem to look jammed when I do it...
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling image!! You have colored her beautifully and I love the layout of your card!!
ReplyDeleteI prefer cling or clear stamps but am not super picky and will use any kind of stamp as long as I like the image!!! LOL
TFS!
PS> I got in touch with bev Jordan and she will be messaging you again. She said she already had but was going to resend it. Hope it goes through this time! :-)
Love this card and the color combo...not a mix I would have thought of! I guess I'm a bit old fashioned as I like wood mounted rubber stamps and my second favorite would be cling stamps. I think the red rubber stamps just give a better impression.
ReplyDeleteHi Holley - Beautiful card and I do like the color combination. I like the space savings of clear stamps and cling stamps, but I also use and buy wood mounted stamps when there is an image that I can't live without!
ReplyDeletesuch a beautiful card for such a wonderful celebration!
ReplyDeleteI am getting spoiled on the clear stamps because I can see exactly where I am stamping. but I must say they don't seem to stamp as nicely as the good old red rubber.
Love your card Holley. I also love the pink and orange together. And that tattered lace die is gorgeous. I want to add one to my collection. I love Conie's images. I guess I prefer rubber but also use cling and clear.
ReplyDeletePink & Orange is fabulous!! Who knew? Love the card and the flower especially. As far as do I prefer red rubber stamps, cling mounted or clear stamps . . . Yes, lol. I use all 3. I need all 3. Both unmounted and mounted, red, clear and on cling. But if I *had* to choose between them I would say red rubber stamps the best images.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Holley, love the colors, and the embellishments. i love the pink and orange combo, and have used it before, .
ReplyDeleteIsn't it fun to break the rules for color combos? I love it! As far as stamps go, I like them all. Digital stamps are the best though because of the resizing issue.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colours and design. Beautiful image.

What a sweet card. I love the gorgeous corner die cut.
ReplyDeleteI prefer clear stamps since I can see through them, but use them all.
Defiantly not two colours I would put together but they do work well. Lovely image and the corner die and embellishments are great. Hugs Jennifer xx
ReplyDeleteAhhhhhh! This is such a sweet card today!! The little girl image looks so shy and cute, and you colored her perfectly!! Love the sweet die cuts too!!
ReplyDeleteAlso, am so glad you received my email now!!! Thank you so much!
DeleteYes, I do enjoy this colour combo! To me, any colour goes with pink! Love your cute card! My favourite is clear photopolymer stamps - I've been super impressed with them!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love your layout on this card. You sure packed a lot onto this card and it all works very well together. The Tattered Lace die cut is beautiful. Also like the 2 doves. Cute "Feeling Fabulous" focal image. I like all 3: 1st: cling, then rubber and last clear stamps. I use all 3 types.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous Holley! Love the color combos. Thanks for sharing this card. Beautiful! Just here to write a comment and not for prizes so you can exclude me from prizes :)
ReplyDeleteLove this card...great coloring of that sweet image. I like how you used the die cut and the other embellishments. I like all types of stamp though I find wood mounts harder to use when I am using several stamps or making many identical cards.
ReplyDeleteFabulous card Holley. xx Jan
ReplyDeleteShe is just so sweet looking beautifully coloured Holley hugs Nikki
ReplyDeleteIt would also be 1st Clear, then Rubber and cling together, wood block last(they take up so much space)
DeleteThis stamp is absolutely fabulous! Great card
ReplyDeleteHugs, Iwona
Another lovely card. As for stamps, I have an assortment of all kinds. Its hard for me to determine a favorite type.

ReplyDeleteI have no preference as to the type of stamp
Oh my goodness this is just beautiful, I love your colouring and the design is awesome! I love Conie Fong digis and this one looks fabulous, thanks for sharing such a beautiful piece of work to inspire us all! xx
ReplyDeleteRubber stamps usually leave a very clean image however some of the clear stamps do as well but not as often. I like using both. Love how you embellished you card, TFS
ReplyDeleteYour card is beautiful! That Tattered Lace die cut makes a lovely embellishment. I agree the orange and pink colors turned out great on this card.
ReplyDeleteI use both rubber and clear stamps. I prefer the clear stamps because I can see where they will stamp and place them easier than rubber stamps.
I like this orange and pink .I like red rubber stamps.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful card and such a fabulous design . Love the image and the colour is one of my particular favourites!

Clear. That way I can see what I'm doing and they're fairly easy to store.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful card Holley. I think those shades of orange and pink look fabulous together. The image is just adorable.
ReplyDeleteI prefer to use clear stamps so I can see what I'm doing with them. They take up less space too xx
I like these two colors together.I went and checked her site and I love her images.I couldn't pick just one I liked best.
ReplyDeleteI use to like rubber stamps better but they've improved on the clear stamps which are alot cheaper.
Really nice image!!! I like a lot of her items. I normally use only wood mounted stamps and on some occasions I use the Cling ons
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! Love it! ..I use all kinds of stamps.love working with them all.xx
ReplyDeleteSuper card Holley! Love the little doves as an added detail. Xx
ReplyDeleteHolley this is just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI adore the colour scheme I think it worked really, really well. Smiles.xx
A really pretty card, it's not a colour combo I would have thought of but you're right it works really well.
ReplyDeleteI prefer clear stamps. Creative Blessings, Tracy x
WoWza - now that is one really sweet card - love the image and that gorgeous die cut corner !! :-D
ReplyDeleteI use mostly cling or clear stamps as I am allergic to Rubber !!!! I do have some red rubber but I have to put cotton or plastic gloves on when I am stamping, and open the windows hahahaha !!!

Gorgeous image and card, Holley. It looks like the colors blend together to create an overall peachy look to it. I like clear stamps as they are easier to place, but mostly I like digitals
ReplyDeleteThis is just gorgeous and I LOVE the pink and orange combo. It's so feminine and pretty. I like to use rubber and clear stamps the most. I don't use digital stamps at all because my printer is always out of ink, lol!
ReplyDeleteAmazed at how well pink and orange turned out! Love the stamp too.
ReplyDeleteAs far as stamps go, I like em all!!!! Geared more toward the clear though.
ReplyDeleteLove your card. The colors go really well together. I can't say about the stamps, as I have not used either yet.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to know that Connie has an Etsy store. I love the orange & pink here, but I'm sure I couldn't make it look as good as you did here.
ReplyDeleteI'm one of the strange people that doesn't care about how the stamps are made as much as the image itself. Each type of stamp has it's pros & cons & I try to focus more on the pros.
Oh, this card is just beautiful and that color combination is gorgeous! The orange is more of a coral and goes wonderfully with the pink and all the lacy die cuts! I love stamps of all kinds but clear stamps are the easiest to place on a project so I have a lot of those. However, rubber cling stamps give a great detailed impression, so I love those too!
ReplyDeleteSo beautifully made. Love the color combo and the cute doves. I like both rubber stamps and clear stamps.
ReplyDeleteNice color combo. Cute image
ReplyDeletered rubber first and foremost ... second cling mount ... clear are my least favorite ... and digi's because don't have a good printer.

I do like the pink and orange combination. I wouldn't have thought to put hem together either. I like clear stamps but since I got my MISTI I don't mind using any of those stamps. The MIST makes it easy to use any kind of stamp.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I love the lace you use
ReplyDeletewell, gentle image, good colouring as always - and gentle & good card!!
ReplyDeleteSweet card! I like red rubber stamps that cling.
