Here's another wonderful stamp from Little Blue Button stamps. This one is very Ooo La La for that card you want to give your significant other. I love her. I made this simple creation just for him. I know we are already past Valentine's Day, but he really has been super supportive over the last several months as I have been looking for work and just so much stress.

ReplyDeletewell, I don't use the embossing folders because I have not the cuttle bag even.. But I wish I had one :) Because the cards are always so beautiful if you put the embossed papers on..

Cute card. Yes, I use embossing folders. I have lots. Yes I use brass stencils. They are so lovely with embossing pastes. I don't have very many but I love them. Hugz

ReplyDeleteI use embossing folders. Also use all my brass stencils. I think embossing using brass stencils really makes a card elegant. I have over 200 of them.

ReplyDeleteYes, I use embossing folders all the time ... best tool ever made in my opinion. I also have a ton a brass stencils which I only use rarely now but can't bring myself to give up!
She's lovely, great coloring. I do use embossing folders, but I often forget I have them. I don't use the brass stencils anymore--I find them too messy.

ReplyDeleteI used 5 different embossing folders just this morning for a foiling flowers project. I have some brass stencils but I don't think I've ever actually used them.
Oooh la la is right!! I love all the embossing and die cuts on your sassy card. I LOVE using embossing folders, and I have a few brass stencils but haven't used them much. I have a Christmas one that I used last year though, and should pull them out again.

ReplyDeleteI love embossing folders and actually finally broke down and bought my Big Shot just so I could use them. Embossed backgrounds give a nice bit of texture and pattern without being the focal point.

What a pretty card! Your attention to detail when coloring the image is amazing. I love to use embossing folders - they bring such nice dimension to a card. I've seen how-to's on inking them first, but haven't tried that.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card for your hubby! Such a gorgeous image - I bet he loved this! My hubby doesn't mind pink cards either, and he gets a lot of them since it's my favourite colour! Love the embossing and the border down the side! As for embossing folders, that's a big YES! I love them and use them all the time. I went through a stage when I wasn't using them as much but now I seem to be using them more than ever. As for brass stencils, not so much. I have a few in my stash that I haven't tried yet. I favour the 6x6 plastic stencils of patterns.

ReplyDeleteI love embossing folders and use brass stencils often! I usually forget about embossing my papers until I am done my cards but then I will emboss a bunch of cardstock so I have them for the next time!
