Cute card! I like to use word stamps so I don't have to worry about lining up letters. I also know exactly what it will look like, unlike my handwriting. 😉
ReplyDeleteSo cute and elegant, love the fun layering!
ReplyDeleteI always love to use word stamps and sometimes die text too! My creations never completed without text!
Aaaah, RED. One of my favorite colors. So cute of an image!! I use words on every card on both the outside and inside. Mostly either stamped words or computer generated phrases.

Omigosh! This card is so beautiful! I love it!
ReplyDeleteI like word and phrase stamps a lot! I have several alpha sets for making text. I also do quite a bit of hand lettering. More word stamps and hand lettering nowadays. My alpha stamps are getting lonelier. :(
I think those images are so cute, Holley. I didn't know they were available as digis. Good to know! Being on a design team means you need to use sponsor's images and many of them come with sentiments, so I use them most. However, when I am on my own, I love to use stamps.
ReplyDeleteSuch an adorable image!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable card! I love poppies! For words I prefer clear stamps or rubber ones. Lacking one of those I use a digi or just make my own. Hugs, Robin
ReplyDeleteHi Holley she is cute and a lovely card.
ReplyDeleteMost of the time I don't use words and if I use them is congratulations or condoleance, but always on my christmas cards...I always use stamps ........sometimes I print out when I don't have it.

ReplyDeleteSo far this is my favorite little gal. She is so cute. I use word stamps but lately have started doing my own on the computer, printing them out then mounting them to the card.
ReplyDeleteThat is a sweet little image. Such a delightful card Holley.
ReplyDeleteI think most of my cards don't have any words. If I have to add a sentiment I usually generate it on the computer and print it off.
I do, however, hand write on my journal art pages :-) xx
Huge beautiful card and a cute girl!
ReplyDeleteBetween the stamp text, and mostly because without a when you can agree on just what purpose...
So cute Holley. I have loads of these digi stamps somewhere. With regard to sentiments it depends on the occasion and the amount of room on the card!

Cute image on your card.
ReplyDeleteI like word stamps, but also use some stickers. When I can't find a word I need, I write text. I seldom use alphabets. I like die cut words too.

I often leave the front plain with just an image and put the sentiment inside. When I do I like stamps but also write or use my computer to generate the words.
ReplyDeleteThis is the sweetest card and I love that little girl image. The colors you used are some of my favorites and it's the perfect spring design. As for words and sentiments, I like stamped sentiments the most but your use of word stickers is a great look that I'll have to try soon.
ReplyDeletesuch a cute image, have to check those!!
ReplyDeleteI usually stamp my sentiments on the card, in English or in Dutch, depends on if I send the card or sell it.
I never used to use sentiments but now I like them. Hugz
ReplyDeleteHi Holley- very cute card. I use saying stamps and stickers and rub ons and embellishments for words.

ReplyDeleteDarling card and image! I use word stamps, sentiments.
ReplyDeleteThis little girl is so cute I want to give her a big hug!! I just love the colors you used and the buttons and lace. For sentiments, I usually stamp them but I sometimes print them out on the computer if I don't have the right saying. I don't have many word stickers, but that's also something I would use.
ReplyDeleteThis is an adorable image!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet and precious little girl! Love this card. Great colors and love the extra touches! As for sentiments, I usually use word stamps or digi sentiments. I've never been one for stickers or alphabets.
ReplyDeleteYour coloring is always so beautiful and this is such a pretty little card. I don't always use a saying on my cards but when I do, it's usually stamped.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute card!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful Holley, I love the image. I often don't add any words to cards but sometimes print personalised sentiments or use stamps. Cathy x

ReplyDeleteA very pretty card Holley, the image is so cute and love the card construction. Hugs Jennifer xx
ReplyDeleteHello Holley!!!
ReplyDeleteVery nice card, and it is so actual here. I looked for anything with poppies for a while.. And just yesterday I decided to watercolour the flowers myself, as I could not find a stamp at me.. ha-ha
I like to use the stamping words mostly..
wooow, this card is sooo gorgeous! I'm in love! ♥
ReplyDeleteYes I use alphabet stamps (even though I only have one LOL), usually for writing a name or just a greeting I don't have in my stash.:)
Hi, Holley! I've been sick in bed with the flu but I'll try to get caught up with your blog today. I don't want to miss out on any of your wonderful giveaways! Your card is adorable and I love the sweet little girl! To answer your questions, I almost always include a stamped sentiment on my card so yes to word stamps and sentiment stamps! I have a few alphabet stamp sets that are unused. I haven't tried word stickers but I think they would be fun. I never write text on my cards - my handwriting is terrible! It got ruined when I learned shorthand as a secretary. I'll check back on your blog to see what else I've missed...
ReplyDeleteI love that the image is simple without a lot of flash. Easy to color or paper piece which makes is versatile. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteAs for using words on my cards ... I prefer to use stamps, but have done hand printing or used stickers or dies depending on the project.
Very sweet, especially love the lace. I often print my sentiments on the computer. I do use stamps and stickers, even letter stickers, but I love crazy fonts and cards are the perfect place to use them--at least IMO.
ReplyDeleteSo very cute!!! The image is precious. I usually use word stamps or stencils to fo lettering.
ReplyDeleteSuper sweet. Love the colors you chose. I use mostly word stamps but when I am desperate for something I print what I need from MS word
ReplyDeleteSo cute girl and card. I use stamps and Dymo .
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card. I love to stamp text on spetial occasion. I usually print it from computer or us my dies for cut it .
ReplyDeleteMarjeta
She's so cute, Holley. I mix all three. Occasionally I'll stamp a sentiment, or print one, but at other times I'll leave the front blank.
ReplyDeleteHugs,

Loving all the RED(my fave color) and the image is just precious. I normally do a computer generated sentiment but sometimes, if it's right, I'll use a sticker. Real stamping makes me nervous unless I stamp on a separate piece and then add it. xxD
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful card. I like the design.
ReplyDeleteI usually don't use sentiments on my cards. If I do, it's usually just something like "merry Christmas" and for that I use stamps.
She's s cutie. I love your card. I like to use sentiment stamps on my cards or just leave them blank.
ReplyDeleteI prefer word stamps.
ReplyDeleteAdorable card xx Jan
Love that red in your card today, Holley! I still have my rubber and acrylic word stamps, and I almost always put words on my card front. Sometimes I'll make a hybrid card in that it is paper crafted, but I'll photograph it and put on a digital sentiment. Then I can print up the card so it's completely flat.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful card Holley.I like using word stamps
ReplyDeleteAdorable! My mum's favourite flower is a poppy.
ReplyDeleteI don't often use word stamps by trying to combined them in to makes more.
Creative Blessings, Tracy x
Stunning poppy card! I love the layout and the gorgeous image! Mo x
ReplyDeleteAdorable! I would say that I use sentiments 98% of the time on cards! Sometimes the image has to stand on it;s own but usually a sentiment is needed!
ReplyDeleteI love this card. The poppy has so many meanings!! Beautiful job! I love using stamps. You can do so much more with them. This includes word stamps as well. This vendor has some awesome images!!! Love them....
