The image is called Snowdrops and is just $1 on the Ike's Art site! WOW. It very much reminds me of a Texas wildflower we have here that I believe is called Mexican hats (see here).
I am using wonderful Paper Temptress papers for this project. The image was printed out onto Heavenly White paper. The project was layered on Mica Flame and Astrobright Solar Yellow, The card base is pop tones Gumdrop Green.
what's your favorite type of paper at Paper Temptress?
I either have to go with the awesome ruche (crepe) style, the shimmery MICA, or the wonderful Hambly Studio screenprints

wow!! These flowers look so spring!! I really want Spring to come here.. The embossed paper looks wonderful here.. I like all types of papers. .Usually I make the hand-made ones for my projects, because it is impossible to get any at the shops here..

ReplyDeleteLove the colors on the card. The flowers look so realistic! I tend to use embossed paper frequently because of the texture it adds to the card. I didn't know about Paper Temptress- thanks for telling us about the site!
ReplyDeleteIke's stamps are amazing. I really miss those flowers you mentioned. I've heard them called several different names. I can't say I'm familiar with paper temptress papers personally, but love the mica ones you use! So rich and vibrant!

These flowers are very pretty! I love the embossing folder you used on this! The paper is beautiful...great shade of green! I looked through the papers and I was drawn to the rainbow paper. I'm not familiar with this brand so without seeing it I'm not sure about the textures...but I do like some texture on one side and flat on the other. Hugs, Robin

Hi, Holley! Your snowdrops are soooo cute! I like how you coloured them like your local flower! I like the embossing folder too! The Paper Temptress cardstock is gorgeous! It's hard to choose a favourite because they are all so beautiful but the Mica/Metallic really caught my eye, as did the Glimmer.

ReplyDeleteThe Paper Temptress has a lovely white cardstock with a bit of shimmer to it. I think it is Cryogen white ... ALl I know is that I am almost out and am going to have to order more soon as I love it for Christmas cards!
