Here's My heart for you....

Here's an adorable image from SSS Artist Sherri Baldy.  Isn't this girl the cutest?  I just love her images, this is Img157.  The challenge this week is to create a card with some homemade flowers on it.  I have added two here in some yellow and sparkly paper.  I also added a fun butterfly die cut that I got recently.

Drop by the SSS Challenge blog this week and join in the fun.  If you have a winning card, you will get a bunch of free stamps from SSS!!

The question for the day is, do you like to add flowers to your cards?  do you use store bought or handmade flowers (either die cuts or hand crafted?)  Personally, I love adding flowers and typically I use store bought flowers.

Be sure to keep your eye on the winner list, it got updated last night and winners are listed through Feb 9th!! You can access  it by clicking on the image in the upper right hand column.  ALSO, if you are new visiting, be sure and leave a comment on Feb 1st!  that's the main prize location for the month of which the grand prizes will be drawn.  You are also welcome to go back through the last week, from Feb 10 through today and leave comments as winners for those days have not yet been chosen! click the Home link to go to the main blog.

  7. I love flowers, but I use more flat ones, because I send a lot of cards by mail and I don´t like the 3D flowers to get all flat.

  28. Oh yes, this girl is super cute. And your card is so positive. I love the bright colours. Simply gorgeous. The butterfly and flowers look awesome too. I personally love using flowers on my cards. And butterflies as well. lol There are barely any cards I made that don't have one of those things (though usually thy have both :P). I sometimes use store bought flowers, but I often make my own as well (using die cuts), because I don't always have store bought flowers in colours that would match the papers I used.
    Hugs! xx

  45. Beautiful! I do use flowers, but almost never make my own. I do have a few origami flower patterns and make then using magazine pages. But 99% of the time it is store bought flowers, even old artificial ones from yard sales or thrift stores can be washed and cut apart.

I use all different kinds of flowers. I have a few clear shoe boxes with color families of silk flowers of all sizes. I also hand make some from time to time. I have a few flower dies that I use pretty regularly, and I doodle them everywhere! I think it's safe to say I am in love with flowers too. lol

  57. Very cute card - love the bright colors, and the accents are perfect! I do like to add flowers, but if I'm mailing the card I tend to stick to very flat ones, as the post office machines will chew up anything too lumpy.
