Hoot Hoot Hooray


 Woo Hoo, going along with the celebration theme this month I have this darling owl card using a stamp from an Etsy store named ChicChickadee crafts this cute owl stamp from SugarTree stamps.  How fun is this?  It comes with three different sayings.  Prize today will be a copy of this adorable stamp with the sentiments that go with it.  TOO CUTE!

    I like deer and wild turkey stamps, mainly because my family hunts and relies on them to fill their freezers. I can use stamp and die sets to make cards for them and on scrapbook pages.

    I think you already know I'm just nuts about giraffe, but I also like butterflies, birds, frogs, fish, and realistic looking bees. Actually I prefer all of them to be more realistic than cutesy. Cutesy just isn't really my thing I guess.

    I'm sitting here thinking of you in your nice warm Austin , Texas just a little enviously this morning...It's so cold! Right now the furnace is running non stop and I'm wrapped up in blankets with a heat pad under my feet because it is SEVEN degrees outside. Yes, you read that right. SEVEN. Keep warm everyone!

    Oh Melody, I feel your pain....lol. I live in the Hoosier state and I woke up to single digit temps too. It is so cold and the wind blew so hard that the drifts have turned into ice mountains. We had to have a neighboring farmer come down with his Bobcat to chip out our driveway and garage entrances. I definitely have "Texas envy" going on here.

    Holley, what a fun card. The owl is perfect. I love character owl images like this one and House Mouse stamps. I also collect hedgehogs, wolves and forest animal stamps. Hugs, Barbara

    Cute card again Holley. I'm not usually into owls, but i love bird images. digidoodle studios has some cute ones and so did kajsansscrapblog had some cute ones too. I like cutesy, and realistic ones too.
