Here's a cute coffee theme card using some wonderful embellishments from Echo Park and a stamp from Hampton.  I would say I love you more than coffee, but my real love is probably Diet Dr Pepper. I don't think there's much that I love more than that!  (Don't tell the hubby, oh, what am I saying, he already knows me too well.)

Sweet and Sassy

 Here's a wonderful new image from Sherri Baldy, don't you just love Unicorns?  This girl is too precious. I know a ton of little girls who would want this card.   I added some simple sayings, they are actually in GOLD, though the scan makes them look black in print, they say "Sweet and Sassy" and "Kind Heart. Fierce Mind. Brave Spirit."

 Here's another wonderful card that I did for the contest on the YSBP Challenge using an Ike's Art image.  This image is called Witches Promise.  How awesome is she?  I added some great lace that I got in Turkiye of course and some fun Halloween embellishments.

Take Life One Sip at a Time.  What a great sentiment for this month.  WHEW,  I think all of us (staff and teachers at the schools) have been running around so fast trying to get everything going that we are finally getting the hang of what's going on FOR NOW...that being said, it's all supposed to change come Oct 5th.

 But Hey, for today, let's all have a nice frozen latte and relax to enjoy ONE more week of things going the way we expect them to!  WOO HOO.

Here's a fun cat image from La Petite Market.  After the first month of school with the kiddos, I thought this card saying "Be Still" was more than appropriate.  LOL.  WOW, you forget how much energy little kids have.  WOW.  Maybe I am just too old.  HA  It's so different being on the computer.  But I am still watching first graders who can't sit still for a second, lol!

 Here's a gorgeous stamp from Unity stamps today. I just love their rubber!  I added a great sentiment from Echo Park and some wonderful Turkish Lace to go with it.  I hope you all are having a great September and that school is underway, no matter what that means for you. This marks week three for us.

We are currently online but that are supposed to go live on the first full week of Oct. I do so miss seeing the kiddos, but I hope it will be safe.

I just adore the artist who makes these cats.  This one comes from KatzelKraft.  Too cute.  I really love all of this artist's work.  I believe the same artist has made stamps for several companies.  I added a funny sentiment, Not Feline Well?  I can't immediately recall who makes that funny stamp, but it goes perfectly with this cutie.

 Here's a fun Unity Stamps Coffee theme card using a sentiment from them as well.  I just love their rubber stamps, they are definitely one of my guilty pleasures!  I don't get a whole lot of physical stamps anymore as I do a whole lot of digi stamps, but I never turn down an awesome Unity stamp.

 Here's another Skull theme card, which you know I love.  I got this cute stamp set from InLoveArts.  The stamp set is called Halloween and you can find it HERE.  I used the skull as a background on my paper and then stamped it again and colored with COPIC markers in the foreground.  TOO cute.

Mid Month Reminder

 it's time for a little mid-month reminder of the Challenge over at the YSBP.  I am using a super cute kitty cat from Ike's Art.  This card is also just perfect for the SUYP Challenge that Ike runs each month, so be sure and share all your cat theme cards there.

I am using some lovely lace from Turkiye today.  what a fun trip that was this past summer. So much gorgeous lace to enjoy this year (and for years to come).  I so enjoy going through those baskets each time I make a card to add something to them.

Wishing a dear friend a very Happy Birthday today!  I know he likes dogs, but I had this cat card that I wanted to share with him today.  Next year I will make you a dog themed card.  As the card says, "Let the good times roll!"  Hope you have a special day (and a great year!).  Have a great day.  I would say that I hope you took the day off,  but I know the odds of that happening.

In Love Arts Skulls

 Hello all!  Sharing this awesome Skull theme die cut today from InLoveArts.  You all know how much I love Skulls, and especially Dia De Los Muertos!  This awesome die cuts very well, I used a cuttlebug (I know, old machine), but it still cut it awesome.  I ran it through a couple of times with a metal shim.  No different than any other detail die that I might have.  Worked great. 

I also got this bright green lace from the InLoveArts store.  You all know I love that color, esp for Halloween time.  It says on their site they have 8 colors, but I don't know what they all are.  You get one roll when you order.

Hippo Birdie to You, Ms Green!!

Hippo Birdie to you!  Wishing a dear friend and co-worker at AISD a wonderful Birthday today. I hope she has a very special day. She also worked with all the special needs kids at the local school. This cute stamp comes from Whipper Snapper and though I got this lace at a store (scrapbook store) in Turkiye, it's not actually "Turkish" lace, but packaged lace like you get in America that's most likely from China.

Back to School

Tomorrow is the day the kids are schedule to start back to school. I sure hope they are ready.  I know this year is especially hard as everything is "Different" from what kids remember, from what kids look forward to, from what kids love about school, but as my husband says, this too shall pass, and we'll hopefully be back to a new form of normal as soon as possible.  I miss all you kids a lot!  I know we are only together virtually, but I will see you on ZOOM!

Which way do you like it?  I think it could also be used as a baby theme card or something other than just a love theme card, so perhaps my preference is the top one.  Hmmm, have to think about that.
