Last week of school! I am going to miss my little ones as the school year ends and I go off to Turkiye on Wed. This is my last chance to see them and I will be SO surprised when I see then again in August because they will have grown so much in just two months.

Guest Designer, Kids in Turkiye

 Well, since I am leaving this week to goto Turkiye, I though my perfect special guest would be some of the projects that I got from the kiddos last year.  Every year I go I visit a school in Turkiye that my dear friend works at.  I see her kids (elementary school).  They are SO sweet.  Just hug, and I love Ms Holley.  What darlings.  I bought them some hearts that are black and you sketch on them to reveal the color backing.  SO many of them gave their artwork back to me as a gift.  I will be sharing them over this summer.  Here's a couple today:

Home Sweet Home

 Happy Saturday!  Today is going to be rush rush rush and lots of lists to make sure I have everything I need ready to go.  BUT also, time to stop and spend quality time at some point with the DH.  Last year when I left, he was out of town.  That made it really hard, because you know I can't sleep when he is not here.  I am glad he is here this year to say goodbye and spend time.

 Happy Friday, it's the last Friday of the school year.  I am ready for the last weekend before the trip to pack up and get ready!  I am beyond excited and probably making my DH crazy about now.  I hope you all have a wonderful Friday today.  I am glad I am still working; it gives me something to do during the day to keep me away from home and out of my husband's hair, lol!  ha!

 It just occurred to me that this is the last FULL week of school.  I can't believe it took me until Thursday to figure that out.  Just three days next week (though the rest of the staff has a full week), so I guess that's just for ME and not for everyone else.  Dream big for the summer. Farm Sweet Farm

Happy Wednesday!  I can't believe we are a week away.  I get to see all three of my kiddos today.  It will be one busy day.  I can't wait to see what we will do, I can't believe that two of them are almost grown up out of the program!  I won't see them much longer when we get back, they will graduate out in August.  I had to share a FARM theme card because that's a topic we frequent in class.  It so makes me think of them.

Hey Dude!

Just 6 more school days until vacation.  I know all the kids and faculty are getting restless now.  It's nice that this year they are letting us out before Memorial Day.  Next year we will be in school all the way until the end of May (BOO!)  Today is Tuesday which means it's my special day with only one male student.  He likes me to drawn train tracks on the table and we have good fun driving the train around and adding things onto our map.

Happy Day

Happy Friday everyone!  Everyone at my school is wired up and on the 10 day countdown to the end.  Even the kiddos (but not my 2 year olds).  the last day of school is May 23rd, with a staff day on May 24th.  I am of course (y'all know) leaving on the 22nd.  I have arranged a sub for the 23rd and won't attend the staff party (sorry, "training") on the 24th.

Good for the soul!

 Just TWO weeks to go now.  You all know I am so excited I can hardly contain myself.  Ha ha.  The only good thing is that I am still working so that is keeping me busy.  Some years I get out of school and then don't leave for Turkiye for a week or so.  That week or so makes me (and esp my husband) crazy.  I am so glad to be taking off earlier this year.  Next school year we will be working much later, at least a week or more longer into the summer!  Grrr.

Little Mice

Happy Tuesday!  should be a nice quiet day.  My only kiddo today is pretty mellow.  He loves to play with the train, have me draw him complex train tracks on the table.  he loves to sing and do hand motions to the songs.  He's such a delight.  I always look forward to Tuesdays.

 Happy Monday everyone!  It's time for a little coffee theme card today.  I am so happy that we are just three weeks from the trip. I am having fun with my little kids each day as we approach summertime.  The kids will get a break for a week and then they (and the same teacher) will continue through summer for at least a month).  Then when I come back in fall, hopefully they will all be there for their last month, August when two of them will turn 3.

 Are you having a great weekend?  I am.  I am on the last month of sales of the current laces that I have.  I am not sure how much new lace I will get. LOL, I say that, but I know when I get there it will be a crazy amount, ha ha.  I just LOVE it.  I can't wait to check out the stores. I hope new designs have come out this year. Love Dogs

 Happy Thursday.  Glad the end of the week is approaching.  I am sharing this sweet card today.  I do like dogs and stamps of dogs.  I haven't had a dog as a per since I was a child.  It's really very hard where I live to keep a dog.  It's so hot, you can't keep an outside dog and any larger sized dog shouldn't be kept inside. Well, that's debatable.  I have so much stuff inside my house it would be hard to keep a large dog inside.

Sunshiny days

 Happy May Day, I believe that is what they call May the 1st,  just 21 more days to Istanbul now. I leave on the 22nd, but I even have to work the morning of the 22nd.  So I will goto work in the morning, get off work, run home grab my luggage and get to the airport approximately 3 hours before the flight takes off.  WOW.  Gonna be a busy day,   This card says, "Hope  you day is filled to the brim with sunshine."
