Merry Christmas Y'all

Here's one version of the Christmas cards that I made to send out to friends and family.  I also had some that were similar but they said "Merry Texmas"  How fun is that?  I got a couple more stamps from that same company (who is now closed) to make cards for next year.

Wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas this year.  I hope you have a wonderful day!

I'm so excited to announce that I added a store to Etsy to sell Turkish Lace it's HERE:

Today is Perfect

Here's a couple of fun stamps from Eureka stamps that I used to create this CAS card for the current challenge on outlawz. The theme is Just Because.  I am using Girl Balloon Holder and Elephant Balloon.  The Monday Greetings challenge requires that you add a sentiment somewhere on the front of you card, so don't forget.  Please come on over and join in the fun!

Hope you have a great week.  All the kiddos here in elementary school in Texas are preparing for the annual state testing. It's very stressful time.  Poor kids.

It's time for the Monday Outlawz Challenge sponsored by Eureka stamps.  These images are just TOO TOO cute.  I am using two wonderful stamps from their collection, one is called Elephant Balloon and the other cutie is Flying girl holder.  The awesome thing is there are so many other cute balloons that you could use with this cute girl stamp.  The theme of this week's challenge is Kid's Birthday. I thought this card would be just perfect for giving a kid.

Check out the wonderful contest over at Outlawz for the Monday greeting challenge this week.  Then create a fun Kid's Birthday card and join in the fun!  You could win an awesome prize from Eureka stamps this week.

Springtime fun

Here's a gorgeous image from Eureka stamps.  They are the sponsor of the Monday Greetings Challenge at Outlawz.  The theme this week is spring or easter.  I am using this adorable image for a springtime card, though I think this wonderful girl would also be perfect for an Easter card as well.  She's called Girl with Bunny.

Drop by Outlawz Monday Greeting challenge to check out all the DT creations and then join in by sharing one of your spring/easter cards.  As always, don't forget that your card needs to have a sentiment on the front of your card to join in.

OK the digi stamps have all gone out, or a request has gone out to get your preferences.  I am waiting for ONE person's response for the KJ Arting still.  If you were on the prize list for ANY digi stamp and didn't receive your prize, check your spam folder and if it's not there, just email me and I will resend. htondre@aol.com

The following packages have gone out in the mail today:  Virginia M, Pat R, Pat M, Kathy, Melody S, Jean C, Amy M, Jennifer

That should be the majority of the packages, I have only 2 packages left (Mary and Suz);  so if you didn't see your name for your package getting mailed, PLEASE Let me know.....

Time for the Sunday Angel card. Today's sentiment comes from Romans "May the GOD of hope fill you with all joy and peace...so that you may overflow with hope..." May we all have hope in the coming week.
By now the doctors should have completed both surgeries. Big thanks to everyone for their support and their prayers. Love you guys!

Sunday Card

Well, I usually make this morning the time for my Sunday Angel card, but I found this stamp in my drawers and this is the perfect Sunday for using it. I hope it's large enough that you can read the card.

"What is a Christian? It's like being a pumpkin. God picks you from the patch, brings you in and washes all the dirt off you may have gotten from the other pumpkins. Then He cuts the top off and scoops out all the yucky stuff. He removes the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc., then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside you to shine for all the world to see!" So, Let your light shine on!

I have posted the new "Vote for Card of the week" Poll. It is in the right hand column. Please take a moment and pick your favorite card from last week!

Project Materials: Stamp (Eureka Stamps; pumpkin-unknown); Cardstock (unknown); Pumpkin cutouts (DCWV); Ink (Memento, Colorbox Chalk);
