Happy Birthday Dad

 Wishing my Father a very happy birthday today.  I hope the family has some nice plans for him.  Hugs from Turkiye!   Chose this Bark-day card for him as I know he loves dogs.  This cute set comes from Hero arts and of course, had to have some orange lace to go with it!

Crabby pinch

 Wow, the end of the second week of school is nearing already.  It feels like it has been so fast and yet so slow at the very same time, lol.  we are in a new facility which as I am sure you would guess still has a lot of kinks to work out.  {sigh}  Posted this card today because i am told this about a dozen times "Thanks for being there in a pinch,"  well, that's my job!  To take care of all those little things.

Having a sale during the first week of school so quick, go check out my Lace store: LacePlaceByHolley | Etsy

Sending Happiness

Here's a cute cup of coffee for you, or perhaps hot cocoa.  Either way, I am "sending a bit of happiness."  I hope you like it.  Have a great day as the holidays get closer.  I hope you are going to get a  little break around the holiday season or a chance to see your family.

I'm so excited to announce that I added a store to Etsy to sell Turkish Lace it's HERE:

Sea Urchin

This cool stamp and sentiment comes from Hero Arts.  For those of you who don't already know me, I love to collect fossils by checking out my local ditches and sea urchins (and the spines) are my favorites! so I do so love to come across a stamp set with some sea urchin stamps.  I wish I could say I have found a stamp with a sea urchin with it's spines attached but no luck there,  I have found them separately though.

I added some very elegant Turkish lace that I got this past summer.  It's actually two sided, so this is half of it.  I just loved it, it's so gorgeous.

HEY--I'm so excited to announce that I added a store to etsy to sell Turkish Lace it's HERE:

Check it out, I'd love your feedback.  Right now I am doing small amounts with pieces big enough for cards and smaller (like tag sized), but if you LMK what you want, I can make a pack just for you!!

Coffee time

 I thought it was time for another Coffee theme card.  YUM.  Turkiye is one of the places where I enjoy having some coffee, though now at home I have a turkish coffee pot that works excellent and makes a pot of coffee perfectly.  You can get one on Amazon for less than $100;

This cute stamp is from Hero Arts along with the sentiment inside.  I hope you like it.  Have a little coffee treat today.  Cheers, Holley

Turkish Coffee

 I love this awesome embellishment on this card (yes the lace!), but I was talking about the pot, which very much looks like a turkish coffee pot.  Now of course, I am not very good at making coffee in a turkish coffee pot, so I have an automatic coffee maker which does it perfectly.  I added a stamp from Hero arts (sentiment and the cup) it says, "you fill my cup completely"

Hope you  have some delicious coffee today!

Happiness

Here's a cute stamp from a coffee set that I got for Christmas from the DH. I love this cute kit.  I made a whole bunch of fun cards from it.  I added some tiny little buttons and of course, some great turkish lace to go with it.  Fun.  I hope you are having a great start to the month of May.

Cheers all, Holley

May the....

May the FOREST be with  you,  lol!  Here's a great fall/wintery theme image that I just love.  I thought this stamp plus image from a stamp set were perfect today with some wonderful Turkish Lace that I got this summer on a wonderful vacation that still makes me smile every time I think about it.

I have a bunch of wonderful seasonal cards coming this year which is so unusual for me, I seem to rarely make Holiday cards but this year several wonderful stamps just jumped into my cart at stores so I had to make a bunch of fun cards!

Happy Howloween

Here's a cute set of stamps that I mentioned earlier this month.  I used this fun sentiment with another owl stamp.  I also had this cute owl stamp for Halloween, so I had to pull out this sentiment again to go on this card.  I also had this cute owl die cut from Pebbles.

Hope this card gave you a little smile today.  Have a great day!

You're Tweet!

Here's a wonderful image from  Hero Arts.  Here in our neighborhood in Austin, I have seen owls.  I must say they don't look much like this one. They are in fact now very large looking compared to many of the photos I have seen of owls.  But, when that very small owl spreads out its wings and flys, it's amazing.  What a site.

Are you ready for blog candy month?  I know I am now....to start off...all you have to do is take the image on the top right hand of the screen and add it to your blog to advertise the blog candy. Be sure to put a link to my blog from your blog and let everyone know that the blog candy will be running from Feb 1-28th.  email me at htondre@aol.com with your blog address so I know you have done it.

Need a push?

Here's an adorable stamp from Lili of the Valley. This stamp is called Milly me and my dog. I added a saying "Cute as a button" because both Milly and her doggie are cute as can be! (and I LOVE those tiny tiny buttons) Now, if only we could teach our puppy how to push us when we are on the swing. I don't think my dog ever learned that.

A little bird told me....

Here's an adorable bird stamp from Hero Arts. I added a cute saying "A little bird told me..." then used a fun stamp from Basic Grey that says "Tweet"...what more could a bird say? I thought inside the card I would put a fun saying something like Tweet is bird talk for "I love you"
I just posted a full blog candy winner list. Scroll down and check this list!! If you see your name on it, drop me an email so I will have your address. I will mail the prizes when blog candy ends on June 7th. I will update on the blog whose packages get mailed on which day so stay tuned. My email for sending me your address is htondre@aol.com

I'm nuts about you!

Here's cute Lori the Squirrel from the Hello Kitty family. I dressed her up in a cute orange outfit with a sweet quote "nuts about you". Made a huge batch of chex mix covered in white chocolate to take to the family this christmas. Never done it before but I have enjoyed my sister's, so she inspired me to make some this year. 42oz of Chex, 42 oz of Deluxe nuts (no peanuts), 1 bag of flat pretzels, 10 oz vanilla/choc animal crackers, 10oz box teddy grahams, and a whopping SIX POUNDS of white chocolate!! I mean SIX WHOLE POUNDS worth. I bought 3 packs when I started, then made my husband fetch 2 more before I realized I still would not have enough!

Project Materials: Cardstock (Bazzill, Metallic, Printed); Rubber Stamps (Hero Arts); Die Cut (Sizzix-Lori Squirrel from the Hello Kitty Collection); Ink (Colorbox Chalk); Adhesive (Pop dots, Glue all);

Here's a stamp by one of my favorite artists from Kraftin' Kimmie stamps. I just love her work. This image is her version of the Swan Princess. Dream a little Dream

I love this cute little image from Hero Arts Stamps. What a sweet little girl who's dreaming of beautiful flowers. Must be tired of fall and looking forward to spring already. Of course here in TX, there is not a huge difference. I do enjoy the pretty flowers in spring though. Now that I walk so much everyday I do notice the smallest things about people's yards as I see them every single day.Project Materials: Cardstock(Bazzill, Neenah, Archivers); Rubber Stamp (Hero Arts); Ink (Memento); Sticker (K & Co.); Flowers (Prima); Buttons (Jesse James); Adhesives (Pop dots, Glue Dots, Glue All); Color (Copic Markers);
