Happy Halloween

Here's a fun card using an image from Paper Nest Dolls and some wonderful Turkish lace.  I thought this card would be just perfect for Halloween time.

The store has opened, there's lots and lots of wonderful items including tons of lace by the yard, great handmade items, and a christmas advent calendar!  Check it out   https://laceplacebyholley.etsy.comhttps://laceplacebyholley.etsy.com

Good Times

Happy April everyone!  It's time for a brand new contest over at the Your Scrapbook Place Challenge blog.  Create a new card and share with us for a chance to win a prize from our sponsor this month, Paper Nest Dolls.  They created this wonderful image that I am using for this cute card here.

Have a great April.  No April Fools today I hope.

Little Artist

Here's the cutest artist image from Paper Nest Dolls. I made this card with a wonderful freebie they had given out on their facebook group some time ago.  I just love their cute images.  I added some great sentiments to go with her.  I hope we all have a little childhood artist in us.

Cheers, Holley

Whatever!

Here's an adorable girl from Paper Nest Dolls.  I love this artist's collection of little girl stamps.  I used a combo of pinks and green today.  Not my usual colors,  not sure what I think of it.  How about you?   Makes me think of all the little kids I work with everyday at the school.

OK, a new weekend is here so I am ready for a big push to get more packages up and out the door. Thanks so very much for all your patience!!  Hopefully the majority will be done up this weekend.

Follow your heart

Here's a lovely image from Paper Nest Dolls.  I have made this card for the Monday Greetings Challenge over at Outlawz.  The theme this week is to include some ribbon on your card. I have combined some awesome ribbon that I got on my last trip to Turkiye.  It has a combo or orange/blue and red in it, which was just perfect to match the colors on the image I colored.

Drop by outlawz and check out the design team's creations and then share your current cards using ribbon and of course, the card must have a greeting on it, showing on the front of the card.

Guest Designer Karin

Here's a fabulous card created by Karin, using her prize from Paper Nest Dolls, a wonderful Christmas theme image that she chose.  I also love that she used this adorable die cutter, which is one that she won from me last year. Doesn't it  go perfectly with her image?

Be sure and check out Karin's blog HERE:  https://karinsartscrap.blogspot.nl/

Bee Happy

Here's the cutest image from Paper Nest Dolls, she's Bee Happy Ellie.  She's just too sweet. I am so excited to have prizes from Paper Nest Dolls this month.  Their stamps are so darling.

Question of the day 2:  what is your favorite embellishment?  what is your least favorite?

I think my favorite embellishment is either buttons or lace...I am sure that was obvious lol, though I also love flowers and brads/bling;  Anything with stitching, cardstock stickers with sentiments and colorbox chalk ink on the edges;

My least fav is prob glitter. I just can't control the mess.  I also don't use much eyelets, alphabets.  An item I love to buy but don't use enough of is washi tape
