The brain is gone....

Here's a hilarious card that didn't make it onto the calendar during February, but you know when I see a brain stamp, I just have to have it, lol.  This stamp was made by Bloobel stamps that is now closed.  I really miss her awesome images.  TOO funny.
I don't know who makes the sentiment stamp, I got it in plain rubber, but it's too funny and goes well with a  lot of my brain cards.  So many packages have been already wrapped up, well, they have gone from being in boxes on my floor to envelopes with their names on them.  Now, they need to go from envelopes with names to properly address envelopes with postage.  Sounds easy right?  lol....

so the following items went out over the weekend, meaning they are at the post office this morning for shipping:    NOTE---LOOK FOR YOUR NAME using the name I SHIPPED your package TO NOT THE NAME of your messages. For example, if you leave comments as CraftyGirl, but your name is Holley,  in the list below, your name will appear as Holley.....

The following got mailed MONDAY MORNING:  Karen L, Rachel D, DJ, Melody S, Cindy H, Cindy K, Rhonda M, Lee Tucker, Linda R, Juanita, Sher Brown, Kathy Brown, Shannon Hart, Peggie W, Kathy Barley, Laura M, Linda D, Jane S, Vinita (2 items), Sandra vB (2 items), Angel J, Gwyneth, Jackie T, Trish V, Sindhu, Christine

HUGE Thanks to Pat for sending me postage $$.  That is so much help.  I so very much appreciate your support and long time friendship.  You are a real inspiration for me, if you are new to the celebration, Pat also send me an awesome Mixed Media work that she made using a great image from Ike's Art of a woman holding a BRAIN, lol!!  (see it HERE)

Made just for me!!!

Here's a wonderful celebration stamp that was drawn just for me by Sandra Caldwell!!  Isn't that awesome?  I was so excited.  She is just the sweetest artist.  She now has a shop in Zibbit

I added a sentiment (in my case I thought it a funny sentiment), "Count your blessings, not your heartaches"  Of course it would have just been perfect if it had said "HEADaches" lol.  I still may take this card and scratch of the word HEART and write the work HEAD and then put mail it out to my Epileptologist. I know he would also get a laugh from that.

Keep an eye out today, I am posting the Grand Prize winner list, it will be linked HERE when it is available, I would expect it around 10-11 am CST American time.

Also, if you didn't win a prize, there will be a follow on posting that will take comments for those who still haven't won!  I have plenty of goodies.  So if your name didn't appear on the list, please stay tuned!  there will be a posting where you can sign up (HERE---this link will only work after the posting, around noon central time)

Thanks Everyone!!

Here's an Anna Griffin card that I made from a cute kit that I got.  I just wanted to thank everyone for celebrating with me this month and all the sponsors for giving some wonderful prizes. I am so very grateful for every year I am given.

So, A HUGE process starts now, I will be filling in the winner list for the last couple days, wrapping up packages for everyone and putting postage stamps on everything.  SO MUCH POSTAGE STAMPS, lol!!  I wish there was a faster way to get going.  But please bear with me as I have tons (ok, about 110) of packages to mail out and I want to be as thoughtful with my prizes as possible.  I will each day with mailings list whose items went out.

ALSO--these items are MY gifts to YOU!!   I try my best to pick what people will like instead of just random selections, but I do know that people will get things they may already have or things they can't use.  if you don't like them or can't use them, feel free to regift them, sell them online, give them to charity....they are yours to do as you wish, a gift.   I have seen others who get all upset when they find out what happens to people's prizes.  NOT ME.  It's my gift to you, if you find a good use or a happier home for it other than your own, I am happy.

That being said, I WOULD LOVE to see any fun projects you do with your prizes.  Please take a pic for me.  Drop me an email with it, send me a link to your blog when you share projects using your prizes.  I would love to share them on my blog as guest designer projects.

The immediate things that will happen are the winners will be posted for the 27th and 28th TONIGHT and tomorrow morning, the GRAND PRIZE list will get posted, so look out for that!!

Huge Thanks to the Sponsors this year!!

I had so many amazing sponsors this year, let me give them all a huge round of thanks!!  WOO HOO. Thank you so very much for sharing in my celebration. It's super touching to have so many people agree to share their wonderful creations with my followers and visitors during my celebration. This month has been awesome especially thanks to all of you!!

Giant thanks to these folks and there's links to all their wonderful stores!

and

I'm so grateful

I thought this was just the perfect card to end the month on.  I am so grateful to all of you who are celebrating with me and so very thankful to all the wonderful sponsors who provided prizes this month.  Thanks so much for all your support year after year.  Please think about all those around you who suffer from Epilepsy. It's an often quiet issue that unless the person is having drop seizures, it is unknown how hard it is on the person.   I am very thankful to have had multiple brain surgeries that have stopped most of my medical issues, including my seizures and their side effects.  Huge praise to Dr Aboumatar and the wonderful staff at Austin Epilepsy.

This adorable stamp is from Unity Stamps.  I am totally enamored with this particular artist and have gotten a bunch of her adorable sets.  I am also using a great piece of Turkish lace and a cute little flower embellishment that I bought at some store in Istanbul.

Last Question of the day:  any other fun things you like that you want me to know?  any requests?

Have you checked the winner list today?  click here

So, What happens now?  OK, so Friday I will post a card in the morning like usual, and by tomorrow evening will post the final winners of today's posting.  Late friday evening I will post a grand prize listing of all the bigger items and goodies like giftcards to stores.  Then come the following day, the crazy part starts which is filling up packages and getting them in the mail!  Each day I hope to be posting a list of who's package got into the mail that day.  So keep your eyes on the list each day.

Home is where the BRAINS is....

Here's a hilarious Dead Sea Toon from By Miss Rach, DST Hermit Crab.  I LOVE this stamp.  He was one of the first stamps I got.  My hubby came up with this funny saying, "Home is where the BRAINS is...BRAINS."  LOL.   So happy to say that Miss Rach has graciously agree to give out some wonderful prizes this year from her fabulous collection.

Question of the day:  What embellishments are your favorites?  which are your least favorites?

My favorites are, hmmmm can you all guess by now???--lace and buttons, but I also love flowers, brads, cardstock stickers, bling;  My least favorite are alphabets, GLITTER, and grungeboard.

Sugar Skull

Here's an awesome Dia De Los Muertos image from TLKreations on Etsy. I love this detailed image.  I colored it up with an assortment of copic markers and added some colorful sequins and stickers to decorate the card.

Question of the Day:  I am so happy to have some great stamps from TLKreations today to share with you.  Is you favorite the cute owl I shared on the 9th (Click here if you want to go back and look) or this image of the Sugar Skull?

Second Question of the day, there's some things I know I have goodies for, but are they your favorite thing?  Coffee? giraffes? paris? butterflies? Flamingos? hot air balloons?  owls?  just those things that some people absolutely LOVE and others are like....cute but not for me

Be True to Yourself

Here's a beautiful fairy image from The Old Design Shop on Etsy. They sell tons of amazing cliparts. I just love this fairy.  I have several copies of her to giveaway today. The sentiment I chose is "Be True to Yourself."  I am also using some great Turkish lace to go with it.

Question of the day:  what are your favorite people type stamps?  fairies? little girls? boys? cute?  realistic?  funny? old lady stamps?  no people stamps?

I love mostly girls, funny, quirky, cute....I shy away from realistic and only on occasion will I do boys

Celebrating with Taylored Expressions

Here's a fun card made with a darling set from Taylored Expressions called Binge Worthy. I love the funny food and sentiment stamps that come in this set.  I am using three images from about Pizza.  "There's no WE in Pizza." a stamp of empty pizza box and "Pizza: 73% delicious; 27% also delicious"  HA!!

Here's another fun card I made to share today with their adorable stamp sets using the same layout idea, this stamp set is called Peek-a-Boo Birthday.

I love all their hilarious stamps and funny stamps with attitudes.  They just crack me up.  In addition to wonderful stamps, they also make a plethora of die cuts!  I am so happy to say that the company is celebrating with me this year by donating a $25 gift card to one winner.  That winner will be chosen at the end of the month.  WOO HOO.

Question of the day:  Drop by the Taylored Expressions Website and check out their amazing die cutters (CLICK HERE)….NOT counting all the cutter sets that go with the stamps (I know, it's too awesome to get the stamp with the matching die), so

What die cuts are you looking for, you know, just in case you win the gift certificate :) lol, but you can always buy stamps instead....the choice would be too hard for me lol!

For me, I have a handful of their die cuts already, but I am so liking From the Crypt,  The whole Beauty Lies Within set of dies, the round treat topper die cuts esp Halloween,   Little Bits Raccoon, and the Flower

As a 2nd question today, do you have a birthday in Feb??  LMK and I will add an extra goodie for your birthday!

Fall Time Girl

Well, I know this stamp isn't in season right now, but I just love this image so much that I had to use her! She's so very pretty.  This great image comes from Risa Creations Shop on Etsy. I used some great leaf embellishments and cut them in half to wrap around the edge of the card to make a frame.

Question of the day:  what goodies do you like in Risa Creative Shop? (click HERE) The ones I have to giveaway are the one I made cards with, but I would LOVE for the artist to hear what you think of her store and all her adorable creations. She also makes cute greeting cards and I adore her cactus stamps!

Choose what brings you joy

Choose what brings you joy!  I hope that you are able to do that. I am so thankful that I am.  I was given a wonderful second chance at life.  I was able to stop being an electrical engineer and now I work with special needs kids at the local elementary school.  I realize not everyone can do that.  It's about a 2/3 pay cut, but fortunately my DH was supportive.  Kuddos to him.
This wonderful stamp is from Coco Palm Studio on Etsy, they have a Facebook page you can check out, Cocopalmstudio as well as in Instagram @cocopalmstudio
Question of the day:  Speaking of joyful events, which holidays are your favorite?  do you make cards for them?  Christmas, Halloween, Easter? do you have a wedding or child birth coming? do you like stamps for baby theme?  how about wine? religious?  I may have that unusual stamp topic you want lol!!

I made a lot more Christmas cards this year than usual, I always make a bunch of fun Halloween cards and a few Thanksgiving theme cards (I just love pumpkins and Scarecrows).  I will do Valentines as you have seen, but only a few of the others.  I don't have any unusual theme cards coming up.  I have a bunch of adorable Unity stamp wine theme stamps to give away....

Have you checked the winner list today?  click here  There's a bunch of unclaimed prizes!!

Take the Leap

Here's another great image from Sherri Baldy today.   This image comes from my favorite stamp line that she creates, Fluffy girl.  This image is called Scan0010.  How cute is she?  She really makes me smile, check her out in the Fluffy section of the www.MyBestiesShop.com.  I love the sentiment "Take the LEAP and build your wings on the way down."  Now, think about that.  Way easier said than done.

I am also using some great Turkish lace on this card and a simple embossed flower as decoration.  I also had someone ask about the lace I used yesterday, it also came from my trip to Turkey.

Question of the day: do you use the matching stamps and die cuts together?  Many sets now come with stamps and dies that match up.   Almost every company now makes dies that match with their stamps.

I personally have such a hard time lining them up properly that I often don't use them, but I know they are hugely popular so I got a lot of them for the giveaway this year.

Have you checked the winner list todayclick here  There's a lot of winner's that I have not heard from!!  Did you sign up on the previous days?  Be sure to leave a comment on the 1st, winners are chosen from that day each day of the month.  No winners have been chosen from Feb 15th-19th yet
