For the DH

I have HUGE thanks for my DH who has stuck by me through all this.  The sickness before surgery, the surgery, the HUGE amount of changes after surgery and now....the wonderful normal life post surgery (with occasional panics about going back to pre-surgery life).  What a trooper he is.  He's the best, i tell you what, the BEST!  I had to whip out this Penny Black stamp, coffee theme of course just for him!

Question of the day:  favorite embellishments?

Mine?  um, LACE Lace and more Lace, buttons, die cuts....

see the prize winner list HERE

Check out my wonderful Etsy store.   I sell precut lace in wonderful packs so you get 20 or 40 pieces all different in a wide array of colors, beautiful embellishments, or Lace Menagerie which is 6 yard assortments!  You can find the store here: https://laceplacebyholley.etsy.com

Fabulous card, love the stripes in different directions! I like to add bling, like the fake rhinestones, crystals etc. Also moons and stars in stickers, die cuts, and fake rhinestones.

Your card is just awesome and yummy. I tend to use pearls, gems, twine & Stickles. I do have a lot of ribbon, but don't use it a whole lot.

Fabulous card! I love the black and white stripes. I don't use much in embellishments but if I do I use Nuvo drops or already made enamel dots.

Great design, love how the B&W stripes match the beautiful Penny Black image. Beautiful colouring too!
You are lucky to have that man and surely he deserves this beautiful card :)
I always use a lot of bits&bobs to embellish my cards, but especially die cuts. Love die cuts, they are so versatile!

What a cute card, I love this little image and you put it together great! I Love diecuts especially well, and little bits of ribbon, lace, and Nuvo drops or sequins, rhinestones. Sometimes I think of embossing powder in this category, it gives something beyond the paper.
