Bearly a cartwheel

Happy Monday everyone!  Here's a brand new image from Sandra Caldwell today, he's called Bearly a Cartwheel.  Looks like he's stuck on his head!  How fun is this image?  She will have a bunch of new digi stamps added to her Etsy store, Babycakes DND today, so check out her store this afternoon.

Here's a close up of this adorable bear stamp.  I am huge fan of her cute bears.

Drop by our Facebook group, Sandra Caldwell stamp fans to see card sharing from the design team and fun contests as well as name games and other goodies that Sandra comes up with. We'd love for you to join in!

Bunny Love

Isn't this image the cutest?  I am adoring all the cuties from this store, it's called Kitty Bee Designs.  This image is called iHeart.  How sweet is that?  Kitty Bee is sponsoring this week's challenge at Outlawz Monday Greetings Challenge and our theme is Anything Goes.  Drop by and check out this store's adorable images as they also have the cutest little pandas and owls.

I hope you will come over to the Greetings Challenge tomorrow morning at Outlawz and join in the fun!  There's a wonderful prize from KittyBee and our theme is anything goes this week, but of course, you need to have a sentiment on the front of your creation!

Cheers, Holley

Faith

Let us all have faith. Keep me in your prayers and I will keep you in mine.  As I go off on vacation, please think of me through the upcoming weeks and wish for safety in travel and well being in Turkey.

I am using wonderful Chalk Markers here to make this beautiful image.   The work wonderfully on rubber stamps by using them like ink and laying your stamp face up, inking the stamp with the markers and then stamping your image.    Immediately wash the stamp afterwards.

Hugs, Holley

Skateboarder

Here's a great image from Sassy Studio.  I love this artist's gorgeous lady images.  She's ready for some skateboarding.  Check out her fun group on Facebook.  She often has a giveaway stamp during the week (many times it is on the Friday).

As vacation times gets near, I thought these sentiments were just perfect.

Take care!

Holley

This one is just TOO cute.  Sandra is having a wonderful celebration for becoming a sponsor over on the facebook group called Markers! Papers! Digis! so check out the fun and see what's going on in that group.

She also has her own facebook group called Sandra Caldwell Stamp Fans.  I set this group up for her when Sweet Pea stamps closed down.  I just couldn't bear for her to stop making all these awesome images!

My precious things

Hi!  It's time for a new contest on the SSS Challenge blog. This time our challenge is to create a shaped card.  I am using this lovely mermaid child, called IMG044.

Check out Sherri's new shop, called My Besties.  She has even more great products than the Etsy shop!  Then come check out all our great samples at the SSS Challenge blog and play to win a wonderful prize from Sherri Baldy.

Space Robot

Here's the cutest new image from artist Sandra Caldwell that will be appearing in the Babycakes DND store in Etsy today.  It's 777 Space Robot!  Oh, you know I had to have this one. He's just TOO cute.  Don't you just wish you had one?

Here's a closeup of the image.

Be sure and checkout all of Sandra's wonderful images as she will be loading the store full of some wonderful new images.  The Design Team will be sharing a bunch of new cards on the Facebook group Sandra Caldwell Stamp Fans where we also have some fun contests going, drop on by!

Leaf Cards

Sharing some gorgeous nature cards I made with some leaves that a friend at church pressed for me.

She picks the loveliest leaves to press and then I create cards with them and donate them to the church to sell at the bizarre.

Love

Here's a fun die that I got from Top Dog Dies before they closed down. I love this gorgeous corset they had.  I made this lovely card for my hubby and added this sweet sentiment "It's not being in love that makes me happy. It's being in love with YOU that makes me happy."

I hope he likes it.  Next week will be super busy as the church is holding vacation bible school. I am sure it's no surprise but I will be doing crafts for them.  Sure is going to be busy....lol, I am tired just thinking about it.  HA!

Skull time

Well you all know how much I adore skulls.  Recently I picked up a couple of adorable Dia de los muertos items (not stamps) but items from local stores, the cutest socks, a fun handbag, and a blank journal that I can take on my trip.  Here's a great image from Dilly Beans.  She has a bunch of adorable skull images.

I hope everyone has a great weekend.  Cheers, Holley

I love being with you!

Here's a real hottie that I made for the hubby this week using a great stamp and some wonderful papers from Paper Temptress.  I used some great netting as an embellishment and some bling brads with a sentiment "I love being with you."

The base of this card is using a beautiful mica/metallic cardstock called Azaela.  I stamped the image on Neenah Solar white classic crest paper and colored it with copic markers.  I always let my stamped image dry at least 24 hours.  Even when the ink seems dry, when using copics, they will run if the ink isn't completely dry.  The layered cardstock is a bright yellow called Lemondrop Poptones.

Follow Your Dream

Here's a sweet little image from Fairy Ink.  I am working on choosing a little bit of colors that I don't use as often.  Green is one of those.  Now I just need to start including purples and blues in with the mix.

Less than 2 weeks from my trip now! I can't wait.  Everyone tell me where's the last place you went on vacation?  I can't wait to hear

Love You

Here's a brand new release image from SLS Lines. You all know how I love Sexy lady images to make cards for my hubby.  Well I totally love this one. I added a great die cut from Tattered Lace to go with it in addition to a Love You sentiment.  Don't you just love this new SLS Lines image?  She's called

Check out all her new images at the Store SLS Lines.  We also have a contest running this month at the Challenge blog, our theme is Anything But a Card.  Come play with us!

Circus Lion

Here's a wonderful brand new image from artist Sandra Caldwell of Babycakes DND.  This great image is called Circus Lion 952.  He will be added to the store later today.  She's also got some other wonderful circus theme stamps today, a clown, a big top, and elephant,...so many more so check out her new images both in her store as well as in our facebook group, Sandra Caldwell Stamp Fans.

I can't even recall the last time I went to a circus, I think I was taking a child to one over 15 years ago.  I can recall the last time I saw a circus set up, big top and all, just a few years ago, as well as watching a nearby train pass with all the circus animals (and characters) looking out the side cars like they really needed some air conditioning.  What a life of travel that I can't begin to imagine.

Goth Vampire Nurse

Here's a fun image from wonderful artist Rick St Dennis.  This digi stamp is called Goth Vampire Nurse.  If she doesn't scare you a little, perhaps she should.  Don't let her sexy good looks fool you.  I made this card for the new challenge which starts tomorrow at Outlawz, the Monday Greetings Challenge.  The theme this coming week is to add at least one button to your card.

I hope you will drop by and check out the cards from all the design team members then share with us your latest creations.  As always for the Monday greetings challenge, be sure that your card has a sentiment on the front.

Cheers, Holley

What a smashing idea!

Sharing this fun image from Ike's Art today. I adore this artist's wonderful images and awesome Halloween and darker images.  She also made me my very own image for my celebration this February when I hit 6 years seizure free. If you missed that card, check it out here (click here).  How great is that?  I was just stunned.

What a wonderful artist.  Check out her store and their amazing challenge Ike's World challenge blog.

Cheers, Holley

Let the Sunshine in

Here's a fun image that was a nice gift from one of my favorite artists, Lizzy Love (on HER birthday).  She's the owner and creator for Oddball Arts. One of my favorites here, as I use her great images all the time.  I made this quick and cute card using her freebie for their recent contest over on the Oddball Arts Challenge blog.

I hope this card give you some sunshine. I am guessing if you live here in TX where we are now having well over 100 deg everyday that you probably wish you had a lot less sunshine everyday.

Hugs, Holley

Our current contest is going on the SLS Lines Challenge blog is to create anything but a card.  We'd love to have you stop by and check out the current challenge over here.

Good Times

Here's an awesome image from Bloobel images.  I am loving this artist's works.  So fun and quirky, it's right up my alley.  This card is for the contest at Outlawz which starts tomorrow, the Monday Greetings Challenge. This week's theme is to incorporate music, so I chose the song "Good Times" by adding the sentiment "Enjoy the good times."

Drop by the Monday Greetings Challenge over on Outlawz to share your creations with us and you could win a great prize from Bloobel stamps.  We can't wait to check out what you make using any artist or any type of project, but remember, it must have a greeting on it.

Cheers, Holley

One day at a time

Here's a classic from Sweet Pea stamps that is now retired. This image comes from artist Charmaine Flannery.  I added a great sentiment "I try to take one day at a time but sometimes several days attack me at once."  I thought that sentiment was just perfect with this image and with me as well!

Here's a close up of the image that I colored.

I don't know if there is anywhere that you can still find these stamps, but I do see that she still sells her original artworks on Etsy. (click here if interested).

Cheers, Holley
