Happy Saturday

It's Saturday, that usually means a nice day in Ortakoy or going all the way to the pazaar in Barkikoy.  I haven't been as lucky finding lace in Barkirkoy the last few years.  Pre-covid it was an amazing market, Filled with laces everywhere.  Now, I see mostly fabrics.  It's very close one of the largest fabric districts in Istanbul.  Every once in a while I get lucky, so it's worth a try, but sometimes disappointed.

Faery Ink girl

 Are you having a great weekend?  I am.  I am on the last month of sales of the current laces that I have.  I am not sure how much new lace I will get. LOL, I say that, but I know when I get there it will be a crazy amount, ha ha.  I just LOVE it.  I can't wait to check out the stores. I hope new designs have come out this year. ONE MONTH!!  I am now 30 days from departure.  How exciting is that? I know I am so ready to go.  Just a month now.  Woo Hoo.  Four and half weeks of school to go!  We can do it!  I thought this lace was just gorgeous!  I love the sentiment on this card, "Love is in the air.  And it smells like coffee."  HA!

Puppy Love

A true friend leaves paw prints on your heart....now how cute is that sentiment that goes with this wonderful image from Unity stamps.  I added some great dog prints and some beautiful Turkish lace as well.

Me?  I used to and i LOVE the effect, but I still don't seem to use them as much as I should. Here's me I am so LAZY I will buy embossed papers.  How sad it that?

Here's a great Unity stamp card today.  I have lots of unity stamps to give away.  I just love their wonderful itty-bitty stamps and their wonderful sets with images and sentiments that go together.  They seem to have the right stamp for just about every occasion.  I thought the sentiment perfect for the celebration this month, "you can break down a woman temporarily, but a REAL WOMAN will always pick up the pieces, rebuild herself & come back STRONGER than ever."  How perfect is that?
