So Dia De Los Muertos, Day of the Dead, is Friday, Nov 1st often also celebrated through to Saturday Nov 2nd. It is a holiday of celebration of those who have passed away. It is widely celebrated in Mexico and in areas of South TX where I grew up. It is not a somber occasion but a happy occasion to have memories and people set up shrines for their loved ones or take items to the graves of their loved ones. We have a brand new artist at Sweet Pea Stamps, Helena Reis, here's one of the brand new stamps,
Dia De Los Muertos.
Here's a close up of the image I used for this card. I layered it on some black polka dot paper with some Turkish lace, stitched ribbon and a cute skull brad.
Hope you have a Happy Dia De Los Muertos or All Saints Day!
Cheers, Holley
