Penny Black in Paris

Here's an adorable image from Penny Black from her Mimi stamps in Paris theme. While visiting family this Christmas in Iowa I learned that one of my nieces just loves Paris. I had given her a set of stickers and a little book that she could decorate.  She made me a darling little handmade card.  When I got home I cut her a bunch of Eiffel tower die cuts and gathered some assorted Paris theme items to send, along with this card.  Also while we were crafting together I was able to show her my sister and her husband who happened to be celebrating Christmas in Paris that year.

Be sure and leave a comment today for the blog candy drawing.  If you haven't been commented each day, go back starting on Feb 1st and leave comments on the other days this month as the drawings haven't happened yet....and you have until this evening before new drawings happen!!

So, have you ever been to Paris?  I have not. The only place that I have traveled to is Istanbul. It was wonderful, I highly recommend it and I would go back there again, any time that I could.  I would love to hear where you guys have gotten to travel.

This is adorable and I know your niece will love it! The image is so cute! Love the Eiffel Tower! No, I have not been to Paris. I have travelled to New Brunswick and PEI (Canada) and extensively around Nova Scotia, the province where I live. I've also been to Maine and New Hampshire, that's it. Not a big traveller!

This card is so pretty! I love Love LOVE your Eiffel tower die cut! So slinky and fancy!

I have been from coast to coast across the US, up into Canada a bit, and across the border into Mexico, but never any further than the nearest Mercado! lol
There are 3 places I dream about visiting...London, St. Petersburg and ... Paris. lol I honestly don't know many artists who don't want to visit at least 2 or 3 of the old European cities. Thank you for sharing this beautiful card today!

This is darling, Holley. I have been to Paris many years ago. It was only for a few days so I couldn't see everything I hoped to see, but the places I did go were beautiful. I've been all over the continental U.S. as well as England and Switzerland. I love traveling. The place I would love to visit is Australia. I don't think I'll ever make it, but it's fun to dream.

Great card and love the die cut Eiffel Tower. I've been on an Alaskan and Carabbean cruise, I was born in IN and have been back there and to MI where my sister lives. When I was younger I went to TX and over the border near Brownsville, TX to Mexico.just to shop. Also spent a week in AZ over Christmas to visit relatives. Our budget is limited now for any traveling.

Adorable card. I know you niece just loved it. Its wonderful when we find what kids like and can inspire them to create. I adore the Eiffel tower die too. It's so pretty. I've never been to Paris. I did get to go on a cruise years back. Because of the storms we did miss one of our stops. But Jamaica was wonderful. Everything was so green and the ocean was beautiful. We actually went horse back riding and got to at one point ride the horses in the ocean. It was neat. Surely I would go back and explore more.

This is an adorably cute card Holley and I love the Eiffel Tower die-cut and colourway.
I spent many years living in Paris as well as Belgium and Holland. And I lived in New York for a couple of years when I was a child. I came back to England, from Paris, 31 years ago to marry my husband and we've lived in Wales for the past 8 years. We've vacationed in France, Spain, Italy and Tunisia.
Hopefully you and your niece will get to Paris one day x

I visited many european countries and citys, but also Turkey, Russia and the US. :)

Natalie

This is sooo cute!!!! Love it! I went to Paris when I was a senior in High School on a citywide school trip with kids that studied French. I wish I had kept up with the French after graduation, but unfortunately I didn't and can't speak it anymore. I still like to travel but now a days my travel consists of family road trips across the USA.
