So today is the actual anniversary of my 5th year, the day in which I didn't have seizures. My 2nd brain surgery took place on Feb 11th of 2010. It ended well in the evening. I of course was out for pretty much the whole day. I do recall coming out of the anesthesia in the evening, basically screaming at the top of my lungs. They did give me some more pain medication, but when they are working on your brain, they very much don't give you a lot of medication as they are afraid of you falling into a coma, passing out,....so, it's pretty much up to you to suck it up. They need you to stay coherent. So for me, very much a lot of praying.

What a fun card. I am not sure if the regal lady has had an interesting life, or if she is waiting to listen to the story the card recipient has. Cool card. I tried to find the designers page on the blog but I couldn't find it. Do like that grumpy bunny though. Made me laugh.

A wonderful card Holley and a great colour combo. Marie Antoinette looks suitably regal and I love the brads on the flowers.
I had a good look round SLS, the new challenge isn't up yet so out of the Portrait challenge DT cards I have to say that Valou's 'pretty pirate' card is brilliant. I'd never think to put a pirate with pastels and flowers but it works.
There are so many fabulous images in the SLS Etsy store, Sal is a very talented lady.

You are so fortunate to have had such an awesome staff of people and doctor taking care of you and helping you through all the really tuff times and bringing joy into your life and your family too especially your hubby.
