For me that was about 4 months after surgery. The first time I felt any glimmer of hope that the surgery was working. I can remember running all over the house looking for my husband to tell him I felt better. Not better than yesterday, not better than last week, but BETTER, better than I had felt in YEARS, better than I could even remember. It was a real epiphany.

Oh, I love this beautiful card and I love your story of recovery after your surgery. Sayings like this are a graat way to reminding us that everything takes time, and that our plan may not be the only plan there is for ourselves.

I love all colors....and my favorite color changes around a lot!! But my perennial faves are pink, purple, fuchsia, teal, turquoise, silver, and gold...think jewels and precious metals!

Such a beautiful card and sentiment. I love how cactus make the number 11. I don't think I have a favorite color for card making. I was looking at my feed and I use lots of colors. I guess I favor saturated colors rather than pastels. Thanks for sharing your story.
Beautiful card, beautiful sentiment, beautiful story! So glad your recovery has gone so well. Jewel tones are my favorite, but I use all colors, as long as I have coordinating ones to combine them with.

Favorite colors: aqua and red. I guess it kind of changes depending on the season. Fall is my favorite time of the year, so I love all the fall colors too.

Amazing card. My first reaction was EXACTLY!! We dont always realize at first when it starts raining and then pouring.... and falling apart... But then it hits us like a mac truck... that light at the end of the tunnel. BOOM! there it is... My favorite color is Teal. I love using purples and bright pinks together as well as blues and Teal. I do like rustic looks too. So I tend to use those colors also.
