Enjoy some coffee

Here's a gorgeous image from Limited Runs including some stunning lace from Turkiye.  Did you all see the announcement in winter?  Tukiye has formally changed their name, they are to no longer be referred to as "Turkey."  I know I have talked about that on my blog before, but I usually refer to them in the proper, Turkiye.  Just a little fun fact for the day.

This stamp is called Cuppa Love and you can find it on Limited Runs page HERE.  There's a whole page of stamps perfect for making cards for the contest over on YSBP.

Also, I have had a couple of people in their questions ask me what I use to attach the lace to my cards. Since I have been doing it for years, I have tested basically everything so what I will say is absolute best is Aleene's Clear Gel TACKY Glue. Make sure you get the clear gel. Aleene's also had a regular tacky glue, you don't want that.  I buy the clear gel in pen form (glue in a thick pen shape dispenser rather than a bottle dispenser), it comes in a one  or two pack. Works like a charm. Here's a pic https://www.hobbylobby.com/Crafts-Hobbies/Basic-Crafts/Glues-Adhesives/Aleenes-Gel-Tacky-Glue-Pens/p/57136?gclid=CjwKCAiAx8KQBhAGEiwAD3EiP_hbm4y5PUpsZWb4_2QSusZuFawRdmaxvQ4bOQGJ9jibhGWq9hVZJxoCMLgQAvD_BwE

Beautiful card Holley! I love the green. I used digi stamps for some of my Christmas and Halloween cards last year. I don't have a lot of them so don't think to use them. I'm going to check out the company you used for today's image.

And darling coffee card!

I've noticed your references to Turkiye but hadn't realized they officially change it until now.Went online to read all about it after I saw your post, and it makes perfect sense. As for digi stamps, I still don't have a replacement printer so don't have an easy means of printing them.
Thanks also for your tips on gluing lace. I have the Clear Tacky gel, but didn't even know it comes in pen form.

Darling card, fabulous lace! Thank you for being explicit about the glue!!! Yes, I do use digital stamps but not super often. The other types are so accessible for me. I kinda recently got a newer computer, so I need to transfer mine off my old one, which has an outdated operating system. Soon!

Lovely sentiment!

I have not used digi stamps much in the past because I had no printer. I treated myself to a nice eco-tank printer last year though, so I could now use them I suppose. I need an external hard drive to store such things though, and I don't have one of those yet.

You work so well with digi stamps Holley, but I'm not an expert at coloring so I don't use them.

Love love love this card!! I use digis very sparingly now that I'm not required to use them for design teams. I don't have the greatest printer anyway! (And I spent a fortune on that thing GRRRR)

What a wonderful coffee card! Beautiful colors and shading!!
That is interesting about Turkiye...I had no idea. Thank you for that tidbit.
Also thank you for sharing how you attach your lace. Do you put the glue on the lace first and that put the lace on the card or do you apply the glue to the card and put the lace over it?
Digis???....No, thank you. The few times that I have felt compelled to use a digital image, it took me literally an hour of wrestling with my computer and printer to try to get a decent print out. Ugh. Not for me.
