You are so Loved

Wow, I can't believe we are on the day before Valentine's.  I can recall sitting in the hospital that day watching the NBA ALL STAR game with about the worst headache ever.  I will say, the pain from brain surgery is very real.  I don't know what to compare it to.  But I will say when I first came to from the second brain surgery, I was SCREAMING at the top of my lungs, GIVE ME SOME MOTHER F'ing DRUGS.  It was not my prettiest moment.  In fact I was apologizing to everyone who came to my room for the next few days in case they heard all that come out of my mouth.  Whoops.

Have you check out my lace store, I sell wonderful packages of lace in every color and beautiful embellishments too!  https://laceplacebyholley.etsy.com

Pretty papers and sentiment on your card!
I can actually imagine your hospital scene, as I had one myself. I came unglued and was screaming at the radiologist and nurses. Surprised they didn't sedate me! I'm sure everyone on the floor must have heard me.... and I am a very quiet person by nature!
Thanks for showing us all the goodies! I love the pretty Penny Black die and the fun Paper Smooches stamp set! The bee dies are awesome too!

Pretty card Holley! I'm sorry that you had to go through all of that pain, I can't imagine how severe it was. Several years ago I had a collapsed lung for the 3rd time and they put a chest tube in while I was in the ER without putting me out, they used local anesthesia and I was screaming too. It was the worst pain of my life. It was followed up with extensive lung surgery and 6 days in the hospital but I have been good since then.

Sweet card! I suffer from migraines (about 45+ years now) and I didn't get any type of pain relief from them until I was about 40 years old - and they would last 3 days straight! It was pure torture and I felt like yelling the same thing!! lol OMG, how did you find that cute Paper Smooches set?! I miss them as they were one of my favorite companies ever!!

Pretty card. The little hearts tied to the string are so cute. Your story about your awakening made me laugh, even though it was sad you had so much pain. But what a gain, so worth it, and I hope the drugs worked fast!! HUGZ
